Sleipnir kept towards Jormungandr, his attacks doing little to no damage as bolts of lightning struck each spot. His horn glowing as it pulsed. His colossal brother followed him, baring his large house sized fangs as a blast of green bursts from his mouth.
Sleipnir gallops in the air rushing out of range of the green smoke before it explodes. He can see clearly behind his brother, Hel had appeared in the ruins of the kingdom trying to help all who survived the Snakes awakening.
Fenrir hopes his brother noticed this as he did immediately, Jormungandr had reverted to his youth. His speech was little to nonexistent as the world snake attacked the siblings. Fenrir lowers himself to the ground, his finger tip pressed firmly into the dirt as his bare feet turned into a canines hind legs. His ankles raising up higher while the ground beneath him began to crack. "Sleipnir. Have you seen anything on Jormungandr yet?" He said hoping his ability to communicate with his siblings.
"I see that still works…" Sleipnir said softly as he bounced around in the air avoiding each breath attack from Jormungandr. "As of yet, No. I haven't been able to look past all of this."
"Keep his attention. I'll try to get behind him." He didn't need a response as he could tell Sleipnir approved. Fenrir positions himself at an angle, aiming himself to the rear of Jormungandr before leaping into a sprint. With each stride he slowly begins to transform into a wolf. His body growing white fur all over as his hands began to change into claws then taking on all fours. He made sure to lighten himself that way Jormungandr would not hear a thing. As Jormungandr slithered around, crashing into the forest and mountain, Fenrir finally leapt into the air like that of a frog. Shifting fully into a wolf as he flew through the air. The giant serpent continued to crash around below as Sleipnir blasts lightning at him to keep his attention.
Within seconds, Fenrir lands on the back of his brother. Jormungandr's scales were so massive that Fenrir could almost slip in between each set in this form when a purple shimmer catches the corner of his right eye. He quickly looks up into me to see it before the gap of the scales close from his movements.
"I know this might sound weird, but keep Jormungandr moving straight." Fenrir said softly hoping his brother heard.
"That would be much easier if our brother wasn't out of control." Sleipnir replied as he avoided another green breath blast. "That and if I get caught in that I might die… Again…" Sleipnir was distracted for a millisecond when he sees another blast heading in his direction. It moved too fast for him to react when a wall of ice forms between him and Jormungandr.
"I may not be in the fight, brothers…" The voice of their sister echoed in their ears as if she were near each one. "But I can still support you both."
Sleipnir sighs softly and nods. "I do not know why but I forgot you can still do this."
Hel smirked as she had still been in the ruins trying to evacuate everybody. Sleipnir had forgotten when the two woke on this new world, Hel had been gifted an ability to see from her siblings perspectives. In this case she had used Jormungandr to "Keep an Eye" on Sleipnir.
Fenrir shifts back so he can get a grip on Jormungandr's scales. He closes his eyes and focuses on his right hand for a moment which begins to glow. Another hand forms over his own and slowly reaches forward towards the purple glow hidden deep inside Jormungandr. Jormungandr stops following Sleipnir and hisses. Acid and poisons dripping from his fangs.
"Fenrir you need to move." Hel watched as Jormungandr's colossal head turned p face his brother. "You need to move now!
Fenrir could sense his brothers movements but he continued to reach for the Fragment. His hand wraps around the Fragment as green and purple fire began to spew from corner of Jormungandr's mouth. Sleipnir charges in and rams into the side of Jormungandr's mouth, causing him to spew his multicolored fire to the side of the mountain beside him. Fenrir quickly pulls the Fragment out from his brothers body and stands back, the pain causing Jormungandr to holler and screech which sent his brothers flying to the sides.
"Our brother is in Pain… He must have buried the fragment deep." Hel felt disgust towards the one who caused her brother pain.
"Hel… Can you cast that Illusion spell that had been used on him before?" Fenrir asked as he held the fragment in his hand. Jormungandr calmed down then slowly came crashing to the ground as he began to pass out.
"I shall try… Jormungandr needs to rest." The last of the survivors fled the ruins and were escorted by a wolf the size of an old home. Children and the wounded laid out on his back as he move slowly to keep pace with the survivors. Two distinct dire wolves were in the rear which had been followed by a pack normal wolves. "I have Skoll, Hati, and Garmr taking the survivors to these Eleves your ancestor had been with." Hel said as she appeared beside Fenrir who stood atop the back of Jormungandr.
"Let me get down before this Fragment tries to reconnect itself." He told his sister before jumping down from their brothers back. Hel hovers up and over Jormungandr, her icy mist mixed with an ancient blueish hue which caused Jormungandr's scales and flesh to glow bright. The glow began to shrink smaller and smaller. The spell she was casting was slowly shrinking the world snake's body. She called the orb to her, wrapping her arms around in time to reveal his new form. She had transformed their brother into a kitten as he now slept soundly in her arms. "It is done." She said slowly lowering herself back to Fenrir.
Sleipnir galloped through the air until he landed beside the two and sees the Fragment. "How did these Fragments come to this world. Did you not erase Chaos at that tower?"
"I'm certain I did…" He stared at the two fragments for a moment.
