"We can't do a lot when Celestyn's Uncle is running around using a fragment of Chaos to enhance his Necromancy powers." Fenrir tried to remember how to change back, his joints were almost rusty like from being asleep for so long.
Dogma, the woman with the white and black burning hair, glides over toward him as he slowly shrank in size. "You destroyed Chaos near the Tower though didn't you?"
He stood in torn pants and torn shirt, his face covered in a snowy white beard and long white hair, snapping his finger to create clothing on himself. "I did… but it appears some how a fragment landed on Strazza Grah and another on Aneth, this continent."
"There have been corrupted creatures in the desert on our way to get Celestyn… Could that be related?" Terek looked up from his deep thoughts.
Dogma and Fenrir both glared at the muscular young man. Fenrir's aura changed from a calm river like flow to a now increased burning that could pull the air from one's breath. "The world is already being corrupted by one of them. Someone from the Tower found the fragments of Chaos."
"Did I just pinch a nerve on that?" Terek asked with a concern look.
Dogma was slowly floating back to the ground toward the group. "Memories I would prefer not to relive, nor Fenrir." Her tone carried a sense of pain causing Fenrir to look over at her.
His aura slowly going back to the river like flow. "Have you heard from your brother?"
"Nieo, Eaos, and Nendrerth are still preparing… Zero risked his life for Nieo in a fight with THEM.." She said softly.
Fenrir felt guilt hit him in the gut. His body had finally turned back to human fully except now he was even taller than before. "For this world it had been a millennia ago… But there it was only a few years ago… I should've been there."
"We need to focus on her uncle first then we can go from there." The pain echoed the village but she had be stern in front of her children.
"My butler and knight are there trying to hold him back as much as they can but…" Celestyn glanced down towards the snow covered ground. The whole time she hadn't really felt any colder. As if she had been meant for the cold.
Fenrir starts to stretch his arms and legs, even squatting as his bones started to pop. "We can't waste any time. Should I take you, Celestyn, and deal with your uncle? I'm sure he's found a way to counter me by now."
Celestyn looks up from the ground and into his red eyes. "Are you sure? I mean… The three of us could probably handle him."
"I need Terek and Jayce to do something else for me. I've noticed since I woke up, there's been a pair of eyes that weren't watching before I went into my sleep." Fenrir looks up toward the sky for a moment then back down towards her. "I just need to shave before we leave." He starts scratching his neck for a moment. His canine instinct kicking in for a moment.
Jayce and Terek look at eachother then back to Fenrir. "What do you mean by 'pair of eyes'?"
"I mean, two cosmic beings like Dogma and myself. Dogma, can you take them with you to our realm. I get the feeling you'll meet them." He stretches out his hand, his nails growing the size of razor blades and begins to cut away at his snowy beard.
Dogma walks over, she stood a couple feet taller than even Terek. "Are you certain these two are possible allies?"
"I can't guarantee but I also think they don't agree with those of the Tower. I sense no ill intent even from here on Aneth…" Fenrir was now cleanly shaved, his hair glowing back like a white lions mane. "But still, do be careful."
"So we're going with her? Why?" Jayce looked up at his father. He too stood as tall as a giant in comparison to the two young men, standing about four feet taller than even Connor himself.
"If you two go with Dogma, they may see you are no normal humans." Fenrir was fully stretched. "I don't want to sound like an asshole but we don't have much time left to deal with this."
"Just be careful Fenrir…" Dogma said softly as she opens a portal for Terek and Jayce. Timber began to walk through without a thought, then Jayce and Terek followed behind the lumbering Direwolf.
Celestyn looks up at Fenrir. "So how are we going to get there?"
"You're asking someone who can shapeshifter into a wolf with the height that almost reaches the atmosphere, how we're getting there." Fenrir yawns and covers his mouth with his left hand. Celestyn could see his canines were sharp like fangs. Fenrir reaches up and snaps his finger, snow stretches up from the ground with ice forming in the center. "I just woke up… So I'm feeling a little lazy right." He smirked.
Celestyn stares at Fenrir, wincing her eyes." Seriously…" she rolls her eyes then steps through. She was expecting the icy wall to feel cold but once again felt nothing as she stepped through. Inside the portal, snow and ice covered walls stretched through to the other end, showing another icy door at the end.
Fenrir stepped through behind her, his pace already catching up due to his longer stride.
"I'm sure you have many questions so how's the chance before we reach the end of my Gate." Fenrir spoke softly. His tone seemed to have gone from tense to calm now.
"Why Terek and myself? I understand Jayce because he's directly from you and our mother. But us?" Celestyn kept her eyes forward as she walked. Occasionally placing her hand on the walls.
"That is… A little hard to explain…." He sighed as he walked. "It's because there wouldn't be another line after you had your mother stepped in." He balled his hands into fists, his sharp nails cutting his palms. "I had a vision I sent to Dogma, but the ones Dogma and I were talking about destroyed everything. Now that I'm awake we have a chance because they won't make a move unless I do…"
