While Gu Qingxin was cooking the noodles, she was embraced from behind by Beiming Han. Her body stiffened suddenly, as the nature of their relationship constantly swirled in her mind, making her feel very uncomfortable.
Thinking of their previous intense entanglement, she felt a deep sense of guilt.
"Why did you come down? It's almost ready." Gu Qingxin, her voice nasal from crying, coughed twice hastily.
"I missed you, so I came down." Beiming Han gently kissed her hair.
Gu Qingxin instinctively flinched, her hand trembling, nearly dropping the chopsticks into the pot.
She quickly grabbed the chopsticks, continuing to stir, not wanting him to notice anything.
