But, she didn't regret anything.
When Qin Chen arrived, Shen Di had just finished breakfast. He stayed by her side, softly asking, "Are you feeling uncomfortable today?"
Shen Di shook her head, "No, I'm fine."
Qin Chen noticed the faint happiness on her face. He knew that child had brought her limitless hope.
He was truly afraid that she would fall into despair once the child was gone; this was his greatest fear.
"How about I take you to the ocean park later?" Qin Chen said gently.
"Okay." Shen Di's face showed little emotion.
Now, she just wanted to spend more time with this child, even if it was just one more day.
Most of the time, it was Qin Chen who did the talking; Shen Di spoke very rarely. Qin Chen couldn't help but sigh and asked, "Do you miss him?"
Shen Di neither nodded nor shook her head; her gaze was a bit distant.
Qin Chen saw she was unwilling to answer, so he didn't ask further and drove her to the ocean park.
