The water in the wooden tub had turned cold at some unknown time. A gust of wind blew in from outside, chilling Tiana Thorne and causing her to shiver, almost losing grip on the wine bottle.
Even so, she did not wake up, her head resting on the edge of the tub, sleeping soundly.
Aiden Shaw stepped into the room and witnessed this scene, his gaze lingering on the wine in her hand.
His handsome brows slightly furrowed, his emotions cold yet unfathomable.
He hesitated for a few seconds before retreating and closing the door behind him.
"Jesse Rivers."
"Yes." Without knowing what happened inside, Mr. Rivers saw a change in Aiden Shaw's expression, although still deep, it seemed somewhat uncomfortable.
"Investigate who helped Tiana Thorne with her bath."
Jesse Rivers asked, "And after investigating?"
"Dock a month's wages."
Jesse Rivers: "...???"
He almost couldn't hold back his laughter.
