The energy trident, spinning at high speed, shot through the air driven by the water tornado, tearing the space with a piercing shriek. The rubble mid-air exploded into powder, clinging around the rapidly spinning trident, and a lengthy trench appeared on the debris-littered ground.
Boom, boom, boom!
Black-purple rays collided with the trident, setting off a violent explosion. In the aftermath, billowing steam rapidly spread, forming a massive smokescreen that enveloped all sound, seemingly leading to a momentary stalemate.
Hu Shiwu pulled the pale-faced Xiang Nan from the rubble, looking anxiously at the surging steam and asked urgently, "Where's the captain?"
Just as Xiang Nan was about to speak, a spurt of fresh blood burst out, leaving his already pale face completely devoid of color.
"Let's leave this place first," Hu Shiwu looked up at the nearby agitated cluster of steam and helped Xiang Nan towards the exit.
