Dia looked at the ring the old man gave her.
"Hold on, that's no ordinary ring you are holding." Eggy pointed to Dia.
Eggy held the ring in her hand.
"Oh my, it's a spatial ring with a few square kilometers of space within. Such a rare treasure." Eggy exclaimed with excitement. While Eggy was trying to figure how to use the ring, Hale was looking at the crown the old king handed him.
Hale put on the black crown on his head. What was weird was that when he placed the crown on his head it radiated with a golden splendor. The crown changed to a more appropriate fit for Hale. A unique power and a subtle energy flowed within him. The crown suddenly dissappeared from his head. A tattoo of a crown formed on the back of his left hand as it manifested a link to the black majestic crown.
"What did you do to the crown?" Dia asked Hale while frowning furiously.
"I did nothing. It suddenly dissappeared." Hale rubbed the back of his hand as he felt a slight burning sensation. Until he noticed a tattoo formed on the back of his hand which appeared as the crown.
"WHAT!?? The crown. A crown picture on my hand." Hale pointed to his hand while showing Eggy and Dia what happened.
"You so lucky Hale. That is a powerful treasure or an actual weapon to actually recognize you as an owner. Maybe the king did that." Eggy said with excitement.
"I read about treasures imprinting themselves on people's body's. It is extremely rare... only the most powerful of devine treasures or weapons can do those." Dia said with astonishment.
Weapons are broken down into different levels. Not all weapons are powerful. Those levels start from the common-level weapons and treasures, that do not have or weild any power, which means they are ordinary and just need sharpness and strength for combat. Common type of weapons usually depend on the material quality and characteristics.
Then there is bronze-level weapons that uses few inscriptions to enhance the ability of said weapon, such as to make a sword weild flames or to make armor form spikes, for extra protection and strenght.
Then there is silver-level weapons and treasures that
can weild basic spells and acquire better abilities than those of bronze-level.
There are much more levels to weaponry and treasury and some of the most powerful weapons and treasures ever made are said to be at the devine-level, that powerful deity's or beings used to conquer.
"What uses does the crown have?" Dia asked with a slightly jealous look, like Hale stole something from her.
"I do not know. Oh wait I feel something weird in me." Hale said with a peculier look on his face.
"What is it?? Speak!!" Dia demanded as Hale was trying to concentrate to identify what was going on within him.
"Wow that's crazy... Hale, I see the Mana flowing towards you in waves." Eggy said with a look of astonishment.
Everyone knows that Hale cannot weild Mana as the other energy, the Qi, does not make him compatible with Mana. But now things have changed. The crown actually allowed him to control the Mana. Now he can use magic.
"I can use magic!!" Hale said with excitement while casting a basic fireball spell. He had learned all the books of spells that Diana gave them to use.
One day he was so depressed, that he could never weild a magic spell, so he forced himself to learn all the spells hoping for a miracle to happen. But now it was true.
Hale casted a water javelin spell.
"Hale you should be able to weild all types of different Mana. Since you were tested by Diana and she said you can become a powerful mage one day." Eggy said with a look of enchament of her face.
Not all mages can weild a particular type of Mana. A genius mage can only weild three types of different Mana fully. But compared to Dia those mage's look like a bunch of chickens. Everybody in the family knows that Dia can already weild twelve different types of Mana. She still never reach her limit. This is what it takes to be a monster level genius, someone who possesses no limits.
"Haha... I can weild Mana. Finally." Hale said with teary eyes.
"Hale start learning those Dragon spells. It will help you." Dia said with a more happy look. The more Hale grows the better it would be for everyone. Since he is the weak link in the group, Dia thought.
