It has been on repeat since I started cleaning. I sang along for. I just couldn't take it anymore. The emotions were taking over me. I have been trying to avoid this feeling, but the more I push it, the more it grows inside me. All I want to do is to be with him and let my words express how I feel for him, maybe coming clean with him will benefit the both of us. I long for his touch.
"Zee, Zee,mom is calling"
Tebby distracted me from my thoughts.I fixed myself in the same position without looking at her.
"Zinzi I'm talking to you" she kept moving until she reached me. She noticed that I haven't moved. She stood in front of me. She kneeled. Furthermore, she placed her hand on my chin and lifted it.
"You are crying? What's the matter" she looked worried and kept her eyes fixed on me without moving an inch.
"No, why would I?
I think it's this dust around that landed on my eyes, so I can't see properly." I lied.
She handed me her phone and I continued talking to mom. After I have finished, I picked myself up and cleaned myself.
After I bathed, I called Zeny to let him know that I was leaving. After I hanged up. I started to pack my clothes up. As for Zeny, he didn't even fight me up today, he sounded a bit down for me. I just hope everything is well with him. Packing my clothes didn't take much of my time.
When I was done with everything, it was around 9 am. I called an Uber since Zeny asked me to take care of myself since he couldn't drive me. And the Uber guy didn't take time to arrive. When he arrived, I got in and my journey began.
When I arrived home, my mom was home. She was surprised to see me back,, but she was unable to say a thing. She welcomed me and I took my bags to our room, since I was now sharing a room with my little sister. I was seriously tired of everything. I decide to take a nap.
When I woke up, my mom was done cooking, and she dished up for all of us. We ate in peace. After eating, I had to wash the dishes and clean the kitchen since mom didn't believe in getting a maid. She says she would rather waste her time doing everything by herself. After I was done with everything, I took a shower and went to bed.
When I woke up, I did my hygiene process and wore my maroon shot with my yellow top and went to the kitchen to make breakfast. After I was done, I took a tray and dished up for my mom and took It to her room.
I waited for her to finish up eating and took the dishes to the kitchen.
After a while, she came and found me busy on my phone.
"Babe, I have to go somewhere, I will see you later on"I couldn't believe her, she was wearing a sassy dress with some heels on.
"Can I take you somewhere?" I asked her hoping she will agree,, but I had to try harder. After I tried all my tricks she finally agreed in the end.
I took my bag and we both walked out. My driver drove almost an hour and the old lady couldn't keep her mouth shut.
"Where are you taking me?"
"Mom if you could be a little patient please" I smiled trying to come her down.
We finally stop at the address Tebbys' mom sent me.
It was a wonderful lake that was well decorated around. What I was amazed by was the glass boat which was able to sink. It was like a water spaceship.
I remember when I was once in Durban, when my uncle booked us a similar boat. It was astounding, it sank deep down, exposing all the underground nature...
"Where are we?" She tapped my shoulder as I was still mesmerizing on what she was about to experience on her birthday.
"Relax mom"
I came out of the car and went to her side and took her hand and walked her to the underground boat. When we reached the boat, Tebbys' mom thanked me and took her hand and walked her in as she was still blindfolded...
"Happy birthday mom. Enjoy your day babes"I blew a kiss as I walked off.
My driver drove off. As he was still on the free way, out of nowhere guns started to bust down.
It was abnormal, aggravated it was different. As they drove near us, everything became real. They started to shoot all over us.
When I lifted my head, our big glass screen shuttered on the drivers' face. The two Mercedes-Benz C class that where bullet were coming from past with tint windows. When I looked over the drivers' seat, his head was leaning on the staring while the car was still speeding off.
The car accelerated until it was crushed by another car. I couldn't move my body, but I managed to check on the driver, but it was too late. I moved out of the car. Likewise, I cried until I ran of tears.
As I was still emotionally on the floor, both the car explored with fire. I tried to run as far as I could but, I was still hurt on my arm. I then fell on the grass and cried.
Not only that, but I pulled my phone out of my pocket. I took it out and dialed Zenys' number and pressed the dial button. As I was dialing his number, the two black Mercedes-Benz C class cars came speeding off near me. They stopped as soon as they noticed me. Two men got off the car and came towards me.
I started to get scared, but I pulled myself together. They stopped in front of me as they looked at me top to bottom.
"Where is your father?.And don't make us do this the hard way," the tall muscular guy said, looking deep into my soul.
"What the fuck are you talking about, you just fucked killed my drive, and you now ask me this shit!?" I said as I gathered the strength to hide how shitty, scared I was.
"We not Chris. You can't fucken talk to us like that" He slapped the shit out of my face. And I saw a tear dropping.
"I will not ask you again. Where is your fucken father" he asked as the anger strongly built out of him.
"He died, and why are you asking about him? What do you want from him?"
"We not here to answer you," he said as he held his pocket. He took his phone and answered it. After a while, he placed it back." We are not done" he said as he pulled the other guy he was with. They walked back to the car, leaving me alone.
As I was about to call Zeny, I noticed the call was never cancelled . Which means he heard the whole conversation.
"Zeny," I said as I was losing my breath.
"Zee, please hold on. I have tracked your location, I am on my way. I will be there in ten minutes".
To say I wasn't scared, I will be lying.
"Zeny I am scared "I was shaking
"Don't worry, I will be there in no minute. Just hold on. I know you are strong" his voice sounded worried.
I waited for Zeny. I lay on the grass as I watched the sky. As I was still gazing at the blue sky, a helicopter landed on the road. The sand blew off. Zeny came out and picked me up. He ran with me to the helicopter, and it took off.
"I am taking you back to Port Elizabeth, you are not safe here" I just nodded without looking at him.
They landed on the helicopter section, and he drove me home.
Before I came out of the car, he looked at me with a sympathetic face.
"I will be fine so don't worry," I said as I closed the car.
"I know you are strong and don't think about what happened today. Don't worry, I will deal with it. Don't skip any of your classes, "I got out of the car, and he drove off.
I ran to the house and found Teddy watching television.
She looked terrified, so was I. All she managed to say was, "You will be fine".
I couldn't believe what I experienced. I was still traumatized and shaking.
Tebby held my head and pulled it on her thighs and kept rubbing my back trying to make me feel better, but emotions kept on pouring out.
She kept on rubbing my back until I felt better. I walked to my room and left her behind. I took off my clothes and walked to the bathroom.
Furthermore, I opened the water to the bath tub and pore sea salt so that it could ease the tension on the body and lavender oil and its form bath so that it could take care of my body.
Furthermore, I found a suitable position to lie in the bathtub. After I soaked my body, that felt like an eternity. I finally came out. I took my light purple towel and wrapped it around my body and cleaned the bathroom and went to lotion myself on.
I then decided to put on my shot jumpsuit that was black and white-colored and slept on my bed. I drifted to sleep with no time.
I woke up the next day and did my hygiene process and bathed. I walked to the kitchen.
I found Tebby and her friend already in the middle of making breakfast. I greeted and settled on the high chair on the kitchen counter and watched them.
When they finished, they dished up, and we eat in comfortable silence. After we fished, we, all washed dishes.
"How about we go clubbing tonight?" she asked while putting a plate on the shelf.
I would seriously love to but...
"I am game" that was Tebby agreeing to her friend, and then she looked at me with a pleading face.
"I'm sorry I have plans, but all of you can join us we are going to the museum" They acted as nothing happened, so I also did the same.
"But you need something to distract you from what happened yesterday and museums are for old folks," she said with a long boring face showing that she wasn't interested in it.
"Then all of you do you".to say I was irritated will be an understatement.
When I was done, I went to my room and put on my flat fila talkies.
I then called Zeny, and he answered on the third ring...
"Hey Zeny, can you please take me somewhere?"
"Look who has gained respect, how are you holding up?"
He sounded impressed as if I don't respect him, damn him
"Zeny man" I giggle a bit..." I need you on a serious note"
I was still calm and comfortable with my voice.
"I will send someone to do that until I come back, and please don't think about what happened yesterday"
"But that's your job, I am sure your boss won't be pleased to hear that you ain't doing your job properly" I had to do my best on convincing him
"That one, don't worry about him, take care and don't tell Lloyd about what happened I will take care of it and Zee your driver will be there in ten minutes"
After that, he then hung up...
I took my handbag and left. I found Tebby and her new friend watching television. I passed them and went to the front door and went out. I stood near the gate watching the view of the swimming pool. I was then disturbed by the sound of the car stopping at the gate.
I opened the gate, and I was welcomed by the r8Audi, at first, my heart started to increase its pace. I got a bit excited, thinking it was Lloyd.
I stood near the gate, not so far from the car. The car opened and a well-built guy came out. His body was all what girls dreamt of, his face was clear and smooth. It was well taken. I got lost on him, my eye gazed on his exposed tattoo. His mouth kept on moving, but I couldn't hear what he was saying, my attention was all given to his heavenly body.
Truly, heaven was meant to be my home...
