Happiness was relative, and that was something that the Merdel brothers were slowly learning.
"Be calm, Zion. We don't know how the situation is on the other side of these gates, but one thing that thing I'm sure of, is that you losing control before you meet your mate could be dangerous for both of you
"And me, probably," Zaire said to his brother as they stared at the open Udrad agates.
These gates had never stayed open for long and anytime that they were, there was always someone to check on who got in and who wasn't allowed in. But right now, as they looked at the gates, the Merdel brothers knew that something more had happened.
Then again there was no stench of death, so that had to count for something, right?
"I'm calm, just worried. Shall we?" The youngest Merdel said to the older twin who simply pulled him into a reassuring hug. So much could go on but they had to keep their minds straight if any of that was to yield fruits.
