Xiao Yan had spent days fighting non-stop in the area. Mostly killing robbers and very few Magic Beasts. Which were all pathetic and would take to much time to raise. The apes were just such a pain to deal with but he did so all the same to change herding patterns. "Freaking Raping Monkeys."
Xiao Yan pulled a Flame Spear from the carcass and tossed the bodies into the Flame Vortex Core while moving on. The technique was one of the oldest in his arsenal after all. "Should be around here somewhere!" Astral Sense probing area after area to help understand the terrain more.
Copulating Apes were perverted creatures that attacked females of all races. Doing exactly what its namesake was to those captured.
The mountain was just an easy stop to get resources and money for future plans. Remembering the one close by Green Town, he made sure to head there first after taking a little rest. Laying a Concealment Formation down with a Defense Barrier was enough protection for now.
"Make a few pills and elixirs for later." Purple Bluegrass, Bone Washing Flower, Dark Purple Grass from his Internal Space were tossed into flames produced in his hand. Not to far from him, different magical beast meat roasted on a fire. "Need to find the different qualities of the meat to determine what to hunt better later."
It was mostly tasty, gaimy, and reminded him of pork in some parts. Making the pills were easy with the use of Flame Martial Arts. Better at roasting meat to.
*Woosh!* The soul of Xiao Ninger appeared with Duan Jian. Both have happy expressions on to hide their individual level of sadness. With a pull from his Internal Space, a few bandits were pulled out. Mind and soul mangled with cultivation barely intact.
"Best I got so far."
"Better than nothing." Duan Jian took a male that was pretty tall. It wouldn't be hard at all for him to change it to suit his needs. "Give me a few hours to get it ready for hunting." As he worked on merging with the soul, he made sure to give a simple glance to Xiao Ninger to behave.
"We are really in a New Dimension." Xiao Ninger sat down across from him. Taking in the features that were very different than his previous body face-wise. But disposition, hair color, and the Flame Vortex in his Internal Space were something she recognized. "Flame Vortex Star Dragon..."
"Critically injured and in deep hibernation. As well as the Spiritual Clone, Liang Yu I used. I do believe the Shadow Demon, Shen Kong, and a few of the others are stuck guarding another part of me against breaking apart currently."
"I see." Xiao Ninger looked off to the side taking a deep breath. Not having a physical body, it defintely was not pleasant. "My Poison Divine Spark is more than strong enough to help me reform a new body. Just need a large amount of Poison Spirit energy."
"Qi." Xiao Yan mentioned. She gave him an odd look. "They call it dou-qi in this dimension. I am just calling it qi. Only a few places will say something else to the different energies."
"I will understand in time." Xiao Ninger bit the bullet on what she really wanted to ask. Fearful of the response, she didn't ask Nie Yu what happened in regard to certain people at the end of the battle. "Your wife... is she.."
"Physically dead. But she sleeps the same as most of the others in Dark Moon City. Her damage was more than most during the final battle." It would be a lie to say he didn't check her every other day. Along with a sweep of his Internal Space each night when he could. "Her Fate Soul I am guarding is strong. The same as the others."
"Should have done that myself." Xiao Ninger brushed her hair past the ear and behind the back. "I would like to apologize to her when I get the chance. So don't die before then." She entered back into his Internal Space not waiting for a response quite quickly.
"How rude." Xiao Yan stored the other bodies back after look over. Looking at Duan Jian who was still adjusting, it was best to just go back to refining pills and tasting magical beast meat. "Such a diligent one he is."
It was hours later before Duan Jian finally came to. Standing and stretching to get better acquainted with his new body once more. The added height was defintely closer to what he kept himself at before.
"Xiao Yan," he tested the name out. ".. I think I prefer calling you Shen Yue more." He gave a smile moving to sit down next to him. Letting out a deep sigh taking everything in and the situation further. "Haaaa, another Major Dimension."
"Hehe, it's your second time. This is my 3rd." Xiao Yan passed over some meat and a small box. It was covered in several runes that he couldn't open. Just how he designed it to be. "One of their Fate Souls and yours as well are in there. Precaution against the attack on the Gods Craft Pavilion."
"We should have taken them out early on. To much to change, to little time." Duan Jian circulates his cultivation through it. Going through the different locks in a set pattern. "Uggh!" It was hard to move at the exact frequency of his soul but it had to be done.
*Chck!* As the lock opened, the glowing orbs inside made Duan Jian almost weep in happiness. They were those of his family after all. A part of each of them is there to help with to come back faster.
"The cultivation stages here are weird. I will go and do some higher training then come out to help with rebuilding our forces." Returning to the Internal Space, he left behind a Spatial Ring for Xiao Yan to use. "This should help with your recovery."
The Spatial Ring contained Dragon's Soul Stones. An item that was abundant in the Ten Millennium Spatial Array. Use in various crafting materials to heighten them further, it was a good item to have kept a large quantity of.
The energy inside was what was really important. Pure spiritual energy placed inside is already refined at that. 90% of it was used in an Array to help him recover. The other 10% would be used for weapon and armor designs.

Xiao Yan woke up feeling right as rain. Running faster and moving better with Astral Sense going further out in multiple directions. He found a few clusters of Magical Beasts he wanted as well as some herbs to get later.
Duan Jian with the return of his Fate Soul had the power of a Dou Master already. He was happy to hunt to help speed up the recovery of everyone else plus Xiao Yan. Very determined to do so considering he missed the final battle before and kept a small trace of guilt in that regard.
With the use of his Astral Sense, he found the wall with the triggering mechanism easy enough.
*Crrrk!* The hidden door pulled into the mountain revealing a cave full of treasure. So many jewels and pieces of gold, it was enough to make one rich and be able to start their own family. With a wave of the hand, all the treasure was stored away.
The corpse that sat on a throne was tossed in for refinement while the flower was wrapped by his flames. No sense in fighting the Corpse Bug that would make its move later on. Best to do away with it quickly. The scroll in the ribcage, as well as the keys, were taken out from the body.
"The Ice Spirit Red Lotus, do I make an elixer out of you or just use you for my cultivation right now? Decisions, decisions." Xiao Yan sniffed the flower taking in the rich natural qi. Removing the seeds and planting them, he decided just to use them to boost his cultivation later. "A stem that looks like ice and petal imbued with fire."
The other plants were picked up as well. He even started chewing on one of them for the weird taste. It exuded the feel of an Earthy Qi. Making his Earth Law cultivate on its own. Wasn't the first time that eating a herb did that to him.
'Defintely a new one. Not compared to any herb I used before.' Munching on the rest of them, the poison didn't do anything to his body in the least.
Looking at a few weapons and armor by each other. The sword was kept, as he needed one while the Thundergod Meteorite Sword was repairing. The armor was nothing of note and would only be good for material usage later.
"These stone boxes.. can't remember what is in there."
Using the keys to open the first box revealed a scroll. It was the Seven Colors Poison Scroll. Reading it and copying it down, the rare poison recipes boosted his own. They were pretty good and helped bridge the gap in the information on Alchemy for this Dimension.
*Chish!* The poison burned his skin a bit. But not stronger than his body overall, no real damage was done. Remembering the Continent he was on didn't take to kindly to Poison Users, it was then tossed towards the only Poison cultivator left in the group beside himself.
Xiao Ninger was happy for the new material.
The next box had another scroll inside. It was a Tier II, a class skill called Eagle's Wing. Which allowed one to fly. Reading it and copying it down with Astral Sense, it was stash to be sold for later. He already had several methods to fly or run on air.
Time went by as worked about.
"Oh, its you." Stepping out, he spotted the Little Fairy Doctor down below. Coming early allowed him to bypass the mercenaries the Wolf Head Mercenary group that appears in a few months. But the "series" had it stated she came across the location beforehand and didn't enter it because she couldn't. At the same time, another of the series didn't have her appearing until much later. "I can smell it from here, you have that little Woeful Poison Body."
"Everything is gone!" The purple-haired girl ran pass into the cave. She already was worried after following the treasure map and only thinking she would have to deal with traps. Not someone beating her to the punch. "All that work for nothing!"
Xiao Yan continued on his way without a care. Unfortunately, his easy time was over as several Magical Beast was attracted to his flame use earlier and several more had tracked Xiao Yi Xian who didn't take them out.
They were just in the way and wouldn't provide anything but supplies for later. White lighting circled his body as he went out sword in the right hand and a small dagger in the other.
*Bzzt!* With each movement, a trail of lightning followed behind. Cutting the throats with pinpoint accuracy, the Copulating Apes didn't have a chance. Any that got to close were immediately pushed away with a blast of raw dou-qi.
After killing for a few minutes, Xiao Yan stored them all away and moved on about his business. The night air was quite nice and the view was pretty captivating in the area.
Less than an hour later, a slight huffing sound came up from behind him. She had more stamina then he thought running that fast. Behind her was a large boulder. It was the oddest thing in the world to see.
"What in Indiana Jones is going on here?" The boulder surprisingly turned out to be some type of Magical Beast once he ran his Astral Sense over it detecting dou-qi in the center. "I kind of want to catch it but how the heck do you capture something like that?"
Xiao Yi Xian ran right at him. Covered in some type of brown grass. Seeing where this was going, he grabbed her and jumped into the air. Sailing high in the sky in the general direction of where Duan Jian was hunting.
"Waaah!" Apparently, she was scared of heights as she screamed out. "Don't you dare drop me!" Smelling the weird scent, Xiao Yan pulled on water droplets in the air cleaning her off. "Cold!!"
They landed without an issue. She was dropped unceremoniously for coming towards him with the living boulder thing. Such a strange magical beast needed to be found and studied.
"Wait!" She called out but was still dazed. Unable to get up to grab hold of him from moving. "What did you find in the cave?!"
"I can cure you of it right now if you like." Xiao Yan stated without answering her direct questions. Surprising her once more. "But you may want to keep it, so no worries." He started to walk off again.
"Wait!" With the cave empty no matter how far she searched, she was beyond desperate now. "You sure you can do it?"
