Hundreds of abnormal creatures, their eyes glinting with extreme danger, stared at Annie, Nancy, and Gro, as if they were looking at three pieces of meat.
Annie's expression was grave, and Nancy fared no better. Gro was the most nervous; his teeth couldn't help but chatter, making a "clack clack clack" sound that was very demoralizing.
"Slap!"
Suddenly, Nancy swung a slap onto Gro's face, and the effect was immediate; his teeth quieted at once.
Gro was taken aback, blinked his eyes, swallowed, and said to Nancy, "Thanks."
"You're welcome," Nancy replied sternly, her eyes fixed on the hundreds of abnormal creatures surrounding them.
"What do we do now?" Gro, having stabilized his emotions, asked.
"It's simple," Nancy replied.
"Hmm?" Gro was puzzled, not understanding what was simple about it.
"In a moment, when they charge at us, we'll kill as many as we can, and then we'll be killed," Nancy said.
Gro: "..." was a bit speechless.
