Fifteen minutes later.
"The test is over, everyone stop." The witch Peggy announced, ending this batch of tests five minutes earlier than the last one. Some wizard apprentices finally understood why Peggy didn't care about the water being too cold for their tests; this was the reason.
Only the young man in the green clothes had a blank expression, feeling like an idiot as he looked at the water in front of him that hadn't fully frozen yet. He used all his strength to inject the last bit of mana.
Peggy walked to the first wizard apprentice's water tank to check the extent of the ice.
She stretched out a finger as white as a green onion, knocked on the ice, listened to the dull sound, nodded, and said, "Qualified."
She stepped forward to the next one, stretched out her hand, and knocked again: "Qualified."
The third one: "Qualified."
