Scylla became very busy since there was a plan of action for where the merfolk could begin to build and clear. It was even better since many of the corals were harmless and actually created ideal environments for beneficial monsters to live.
A small fish monster that Walker spotted was called a sand swimmer. At first it just seemed to be a cute gray sandy looking monster, but after he appraised it he realized the benefits it brought.
While other monsters fought one another or ate the seaweed, this little monster consumed waste and rotting materials. It was perfect to live within the corals here since it would constantly clean up the area and wouldn't fight anyone that lived around here. The perfect natural cleaning system for everyone.
Beyond this, there was also the fact that Walker spotted quite a few of the demi-humans with aquatic traits.
