Chapter 5 - Ch.5 The Temple of Astral Convergence

Sister Adah was so engulfed in her newfound powers that she lost track of time and still hadn't realized she was partially exposed in a temple with the mysterious man looming about. It wasn't until the room suddenly turned pitch black that she realized something was off. Sister Adah seemed at peace with the dark energy surrounding the temple. She didn't even panic and looked around, finally realizing she didn't even know where she was. She couldn't even get a fix on her location using the geo-locate spell. She began trying to remember what happened to her before she woke up, but the last thing she remembered was talking to Kar.

"What was I talking to Kar about? ...Oh right, I was in the healing cave trying to wake that stranger up, but how did I get here?" At this moment, Sister Adah subconsciously gazed at the spot where the man would be if the transported together and then she looked around. The stranger was nowhere to be found. A strange, pleasant feeling unknown to her crept up through her entire body. Why was it familiar, she pondered. Adah was sure that before today she'd never felt this strong sense of euphoria. She soon realized it was the same feeling she got when she grabbed the hand of that guy. She wondered if he had somehow brought her here and why he did so without her noticing.

She started to walk around the temple, trying to find a clue as to her whereabouts. If it weren't for the fact that this felt so real, she would think it was a dream. Sister Adah walked, finding the residue of a foreign summoning spell, and a powerful one at that. She also found that most of them had a grand design unlike anything she's ever seen. Gold covered the floors and walls. Unknown, brilliant blue gems were placed evenly along the wall, giving off a mysterious vibe. To add to that, there were glowing malachite pillars shaped in the images of different gods and goddesses that held up the ceiling of the temple.

Sister Adah explored the temple, finding her way into a corridor that seemed to be endless. Feeling something was off, she turned around and walked in the direction from which she came. Walking some distance Sister Adah suddenly stopped and frowned deeply. "I'm pretty sure I've walked far enough to exit this corridor, what's going on?"

Minutes went by as she walked down the continuous corridor. Unknowingly, she repeatedly walked past a smooth, mirror-like wall. She didn't notice her reflection when she first walked by it due to a powerful illusion spell covering it. This was a form of mirror magic. Powerful unique mirror aspects allowed mirror mages to trap individuals within the mirror realm or space.

Frowning, Sister Adah stopped walking and spread out here mana, trying to notice anything out of place. Upon doing so, her senses told her that the corridor was continuous. Sister Adah sighed, letting out a long breath. "Did the stranger do this to me?" she thought to herself. Just as she was about to try and force her way out. Her mana merged with the shadows at a particular section of the wall. The shadow was somehow passing information to her mana. "Strange, is it telling me that there is another pathway beyond this wall?" Using the shadow as an anchor, she concentrated her mana on the wall. She was prepared for what would happen next. The shadow expanded rapidly, turning into an umbra vortex, sucking Sister Adah in without warning.

"Whoa, what is happening?" Alarmed Sister started to act immediately, expanding her mana once again to find to force the umbra vortex to close. However, she paused, feeling that the shadow wasn't sinister and meant no harm. This didn't stop her from creating hard light constructs to protect herself for whatever happened next. Shorty, she felt herself passing through a door object. The moment she passed it, she saw the familiar, beautiful room that captivated her once before.

Confused, Sister Adah felt the urge to thank the shadow for its assistance and ask it for further assistance. Upon turning to do just that. She noticed a mirror she hadn't seen before. Sister Adah paled, realizing that she was trapped in a powerful mirror aspect spell. She shuddered, thinking to herself that no matter how hard she tried to escape. It would have been useless. The mirror plane was another state of existence. Chills running down her back, she let out a cold breath, whispering "Scary".

Taking another deep breath, she also noticed her own reflection. Startled, she asked herself "Since when was I naked?" Pausing, realized that they disappeared when she was teleported by that weird energy. Sighing, she thought. "I guess I was too wrapped up in the power I felt and the view of this place to even realize I didn't have clothes on. I wonder where my clothes got on too? And what the hell is going on with this place?"

She reached inside her ring, taking out a new set of clothes from its storage dimension. Place on the new clothes, they suddenly became bathed in a glowing dark purple shadow and vanished like the previous set. "What the hell is going on!" She yelled furiously. a tall, slender, muscular reflection appeared in the mirror. It was the handsome stranger who got her into this situation. Sister Adah knew immediately who the reflection belonged to. She turned around, holding another set of clothes in her right hand. She felt his gaze, and her body temperature started to rise rapidly. Sister Adah quickly covered herself with the clothes she had in her hand and pondered about the bazaar situation. She began blushing due to the fact that her thoughts quickly became filled with the images of the romantasy novel Queen Nandi recommended.

"When I get out of the situation, I swear I'll never get another book recommendation from Nandi ever again!" She proclaimed in her thoughts. She mentally took a deep breath to refocus on the issue at hand. "Why am I having this strange feeling? Why is he just looking at me like that? Should I say something first? Is he making me feel this way? No, just stay strong and wait it out. I believe he might be as confused as I am, but it's strange that now I'm getting this familiar feeling that I had when I was treating him."

While Sister Adah was in her thoughts. The stranger stepped forward, making Sister Adah retreat into a defensive stance. The stranger then stepped back and raised his hands to show he meant no harm. What was strange was that he had a very pleasant yet vicious smile on his face. It was oddly soothing. Sister Adah couldn't tell whether to keep her guard up or not. This situation was just a bit too strange.

With her spells ready. She cast a spell that instantly put on not only clothes but a suit of armor. The spell was a top-tier elite spell for mana armor. If the user were naked, it would also equip a set of stored clothes under the armor. Unfortunately for her, those pair of clothes glowed with a purplish black shadow before disappearing. Thankfully, her mana armor was still intact.

Seeing the Glow, the stranger smiled even wider in amusement. He laughed as if he saw the most interesting thing in the world. He sat down and closed his eyes. This action made her sit down as well. He didn't have any intentions of attacking her and most likely wanted to talk. What confused her was the action of closing his eyes.

The reason for the strangers' weird actions was that he was exploring his soul sea. He could feel a strong connection between their souls. He became aware of the growing link when he felt shadow leave him. This was the same shadow that assisted Sister Adah with escaping the mirror trap. It then proceeded to merge with her shadow. Upon entering his soul sea. He noticed a sun shining, illuminating the once pitch-black soul. Strangely, the sun only cast a stronger shadow.

Building up her resolve, she finally broke the silence. "Are you the one taking my clothes? Because if you are, I'll let you know now that this isn't funny." Immediately after she spoke. She felt a change in her mana. Something like a link was being established. She thought to herself, "He is trying to feel my mana fluctuation? What is wrong with me? Why am I just sitting here like a damsel in distress, letting him do what he wants?"

Stretching out her hand. A katana materialized from thin air, not with a clang of steel, but with a soft hum of energy. It was crafted entirely from hard light, giving it an ethereal yet potent appearance. The blade itself shimmered with a warm, almost translucent glow, like sunlight caught on polished glass, but with an inner intensity that hinted at immense power. It was a dense field of coherent energy, allowing a faint, almost imperceptible distortion of the air around it.

The edge of the blade seemed to hum visually, a razor-thin line of brighter, more focused light that promised to cut through anything. As it solidified, faint, almost geometric patterns of light pulsed subtly beneath its surface, suggesting an intricate internal structure or energy matrix. It had the elegant curve of a traditional katana, yet its form was utterly modern, a seamless flow of pure energy.

Sister Adah quickly positioned herself into a Chudan-no-Kamae stance, preparing for battle. She lowered her eyes into slits. The mana armor adjusted itself to make up for the lack of clothes underneath. "I'll ask you one more ti...."

Before she could finish her statement. She felt as if a connection to the stranger was finalized. Occurrences usually have an immediate connection. The delay in the connection was due to the state of the stranger's soul currently. His soul was splintered. No, a large chuck of it was missing.

After checking his soul sea, the stranger asked two questions, "Quetuvangwe si ve nildu? Man esselya na? Greetings, where is this place? What is your name? "Seeing Sister Adah not respond, he remained quiet.

Sister Adah didn't know what language he was speaking, so she continued to listen closely. She simply pointed at her mouth and said, "I don't understand you."

Realizing that Elvish wasn't the official language and that trying to communicate this way would be fruitless. The stranger pondered before stepping forward towards her. With one step, he crossed the room. Sister Adah didn't even have time to react. The stranger grabbed her and locked their lips.

Sister Adah was surprisingly calm and started kissing him back. The reason she did so was because of the feeling she'd had before. Her heart and soul were telling her that this was right, but her mind was conflicted. She simply couldn't fight the urge. Even though he was done with his language skills, he continued to kiss her. Feeling a deeper connection with her than any of the women he'd been with, Sister Adah wrapped herself around him, making his blood boil.

Sister Adah couldn't think properly at this moment; her blood was boiling, and her hormones were raging. She dispelled her armor and clothes. Noticing this, the stranger did the same. Sister Adah hugged the stranger closely, feeling his rippling muscles and his large package. Neither of them knew that they had gone through the third occurrence of mana immersion. Another side effect of mana immersion is that it amplifies any positive emotions two individuals have for each other. That included sexual feelings.

As if something took over, Sister Adah saw the stranger on the ground and got on top of him. She was going to ride him, but he pulled her waist until it was vertical, then raised his horizontal head and started licking. She rode his face till she had an out-of-body-like experience. That wasn't enough to suppress the fire inside. She scooted down and gave him another kiss, tasting how sweet she was. She made up her mind that she was ready to lose her virginity. She figured that since she had come this far, she might as well finish and experience it.

She grabbed his shaft and positioned herself to put it in. 30 minutes later, the pair was interrupted by the presence of approaching people. Sister Adah summoned her armor to cover herself. The stranger, however, only pants summoned a pair of pants. The shadows stirred at ready to attack at any moment.

Had Elder Yu been here, the scene wouldn't surprise him one bit; he knew the most about mana immersions. To him, it would have just confirmed Big John's theory. To everyone else who knew Sister Adah's personality and virgin status, they would expect a battle scene. However, what they saw before them was something they were not prepared for.

Queen Nandi giggled. She knew Sister Adah the most. You could say they were kindred spirits. They would have tea anytime they were free. She started to think of all the times they fantasized about being taken by a strong, warrior stranger in an unknown place. Despite Sister Adah being a virgin, she had a vivid imagination when it came to sexual fantasies.

Smiling, Queen Nandi amusingly said, "Your fantasies have come true, Adah. I'm so jealous. I want to hear about everything that happened between you two.

With absolute shock and disbelief on his face. General Kar yelled, "Adah, what are you doing?!?!? This isn't like you at all; you're not a lustful person! What have you done to her, you vile creature?" The only sense that he could make of what he had just witnessed was to believe that Sister Adah was mind-controlled or somehow being forced.

With nothing on but a face full of embarrassment. Wanting to escape, Sister Adah managed to sink into her shadow. She didn't even think to question what she just did. She needed to calm down after everything that had just happened. It was simply too many different emotions happening all at the same time.

Queen Nandi couldn't hold back her curiosity and excitement for her friend. Noticing the shadow that Sister Adah entered, moved toward her. She stepped onto it and sank into it as well.

When the two saw each other, they smiled and began giggling. The embarrassment Sister Adah felt was gone. Queen Nandi pulled out chairs, a table, and a tea set. The two sat down and began discussing everything that transpired during their separation. They completely forgot about the others.

While the ladies were having their discussion, the men were standing in awkward silence. It was an extremely hostile environment, and despite this, no one attacked. They saw that the Queen didn't harbor any aggression, nor did she give an order to attack, so they held back. That wasn't the only reason; the other was that they didn't know anything about the stranger and couldn't properly gauge his power.

After a staring contest, Kar finally exploded, "Who are you and what have you done to Sister Adah?! If you've harmed even a hair on her body, I'll cut you up and feed you to the wolves!"

The stranger was standing in front of General Kar and Big John. The stranger realized that he could now understand the language. He could tell they were both very strong. This caused a pleasant yet vicious smile to form.

He could tell that with his current strength, due to being apart from his shadow, he was stronger than General Kar, but not by much. Big John, on the other hand, was stronger. Even if he had his shadow, he would still be much weaker. This caused him to pay close attention to Big John. He wasn't afraid that he could be held here if he wanted to go, but he never underestimated his opponents, even if they were weaker than him. Only a fool would believe that having a higher battle power would mean absolute victory.

The stranger spoke, "Le suilon. Peig edhellen?" (Elvish for: "I greet you. Where is this place?")

General Kar looked at Big John, having no idea what language the stranger spoke. So he waited to see if his Master knew anything. Elves and a majority of the relics isolated themselves from the human world many centuries ago. They were right to do so. Many humans were greedy and found any excuse to wage war for potential profits. So a plethora of the ancient tongues were lost.

Big John could tell the stranger was speaking Elvish, but it wasn't his strong suit. He wished Elder Yu had come with them. If Elder Yu had come, he would have known enough simple replies to communicate with the stranger. He, on the other hand, only knew three phrases.

Big John took a long sigh before responding, "U-bedin edhellen." "I do not speak Elvish." It wasn't very clear, but that was expected. It was the first time he had to use it verbally, and even the top scholar wasn't clear on the correct accents.

The stranger was able to make out what Big John said. He was a little disappointed. He wasn't sure how the language he copied from Sister Adah would sound. "I greet you. Where is this place?" He did surprisingly well for his first time speaking the native tongue of the people presented before him.

"It would seem as if he had just learned our language? That's truly fascinating. Elder Yu will give me anything I want if I figure out how the stranger did it. What a shame," Big John thought and sighed to himself.

At this point, Kar had calmed down after seeing the politeness of the stranger and seeing his Master stop being hostile toward the stranger. He decided to be the first one to introduce himself, and then maybe he could get the answer he sought.

"I'm General and Chief Kar Furring; might I ask what your name is?" Kar said with a formal greeting.

Seeing General Kar take the lead, Big John introduced himself. "Pardon my manners, I'm John Cena, the fifth, but you can call me Big John." As soon as Big John said his name, he vanished from thin air and reappeared after he finished his sentence. This surprised both General Kar and the stranger. The reason was that neither one of them could feel any fluctuation of mana.

Seeing both parties staring at him, Big John chuckled before saying, amusedly, "I bet you both are wondering why I disappeared when I said my name out loud. It's a bloodline trait that all the males in the family are born with. However, only one child can possess this name per generation. Only the firstborn son in that generation can have it. It's called 'You can't see me.'"

Kar said, "That's right, bloodline abilities did not require mana and could be used as many times as wanted if you had the stamina. Having my own, you'd think I would remember that."

Both Big John and Kar looked at the stranger, waiting for him to say his name.

The stranger didn't bother translating his name into this language. "It is my honor to greet you, Big John, and General Chief Kar. I am Sheut Khensu of the Shadow Demon Tribe. Where am I?"
