While Noel/Layton was still blacksmithing in the plane, Layton was in a wizard tower located in one of the most exclusive locations close to the core of the Wizard world. He had been given the tower a few days ago after agreeing to Kagami's offer. The arrangement included not only the tower itself but also access to a peculiar and extraordinary spell sponsored directly by Kagami, a privilege that Zero and Lilith had likewise been granted.
The Layton that was in that unknown plane wasn't just a simple clone, projection or a piece of Laytons soul instead it was a product of the miraculous spell given by Kagami that allowed Layton to descend on that plane while being here. This remarkable feat bore striking resemblance to the legendary "One Qi, Three Transformations" technique attributed to the mythical Three Pure Ones, where a single divine consciousness could manifest across multiple forms and locations without diminishing its essential nature or power.
