Violet Reeves looked at Julian Rhodes and said, "I was just talking to Scarlett Xavier about going out to eat, and she said let's order takeout."
Julian looked at Scarlett and had no objections to his wife's idea, "Then let's order takeout."
Scarlett looked at him and said, "Alright."
She opened her phone and ordered takeout for three people.
All three ate together.
Julian ate very little. Scarlett asked, "Is it hard to eat?"
He's quite picky, and she's used to it.
Julian replied, "I'm not really hungry."
"Oh." Scarlett said, "How come you decided to come over for dinner with me?"
"I happened to be free, and it's not far away. I missed you, so I came by to see you," Julian said, looking at her gently.
Violet sat nearby, appearing harmless, "Scarlett, you two really have a good relationship."
If it hadn't been for what happened last night, Julian would have thought Violet was just a naive sweetheart.
In fact, with many people, you'll never really know what they're like.
