Vivian Bell looked at Scarlett Xavier and said, "It's so cold today."
Scarlett Xavier said, "Yeah, the temperature dropped. It's the coldest day recently."
"I was out shopping yesterday and bought you something." Vivian glanced at her.
Scarlett asked, "What is it?"
Vivian Bell took the paper bag from beside her and handed it to Scarlett.
Scarlett opened it and noticed... it was a hat just like theirs.
Seeing the hat, Scarlett looked at Vivian in surprise, but Vivian had already turned her gaze back to the computer.
Scarlett said, "Didn't you say you and Violet bought the same one? Why is there one for me too?"
"I thought it was too pretty and worried you'd steal mine."
"I wouldn't." Scarlett rolled her eyes at her.
Vivian curled her lips into a smile and said to Scarlett, "Alright, get back to work! This month's salary hasn't been paid yet, everyone is waiting."
"Yes, ma'am." Scarlett started to focus on her work.
