Returning to the Griffin Family home, Scarlett Xavier followed them into the living room. Grandpa was sitting on the sofa; his health wasn't good, so he'd gone to the hospital once, but he hadn't been back there for the past few days.
Although he missed his grandson, he didn't want to trouble everyone.
Seeing them come in, he said warmly, "You're back! Are you feeling better? Come over, let me take a look."
Julian Rhodes listened to his grandpa and walked over to sit beside him. Grandpa asked, "How's your injury?"
"Much better," Julian obediently replied, though his face still looked pale, having just been discharged from the hospital.
Besides Grandpa, there were guests at home — Anne Everett and her mother.
Mrs. Yates saw Julian and said, "It's good that you're back, get some rest."
Mrs. Yates was actually a bit younger than Mrs. Rhodes, but the two of them looked about the same age.
She was dressed very neatly, and her overall demeanor was cool and aloof.
