She washed her hands, returned to the table, and sat down to start eating dinner.

Feeling a bit helpless, he said, "I was planning to suggest that Scarlett goes home to rest tonight, and I'd stay here with you. But now, perhaps I should just go back and rest! After all, with Scarlett here, you don't need me."
Scarlett replied to her second brother, "Second brother, you've been working hard every day. Let me stay with him. It's no trouble."
Aside from a trip to the store today, she had mostly been sleeping, both in the morning and the evening.
