Scarlett Xavier glanced at him, opened the car door, and stepped out.
The shop was bustling, everyone was busy. Seeing her, they said, "Ms. Xavier, you're back! Weren't you sick? You should go home and rest! Sister Vi has already left for the day."
"It's fine, I just came to pick up something. Don't worry about me."
Scarlett entered the shop, pretending to pick up something, and then walked back out.
She originally thought Julian Rhodes would have left by now, which would allow her to find a nearby hotel to stay. But then she noticed his car still parked there, not having left.
She had no choice but to walk over and ask, "Why haven't you left yet?"
Julian glanced at the bag she was carrying and asked, "Where are you going?"
Scarlett said, "I'm planning to go home. My car is over there... I'll drive myself back. You should go."
As soon as she finished speaking, she noticed Julian was looking her up and down, with an odd expression.
