The night was deep, and she walked despondently in the park. Her hair was a bit messy and uneven, and her backpack had several slits, seemingly cut by something sharp. The books inside the backpack were torn to shreds. Her face was an ashen gray, and she slowly shuffled her feet. When she came to her senses, she found herself at the lakeside of the park.
Staring at the dark lake surface, she was in a daze.
Being bullied for so long, she really couldn't hold on anymore.
Maybe dying would bring her relief.
She looked at the calm lake water, climbed over the railing, wanting to just sink to the bottom and quietly leave this world.
However, when she climbed over the railing, the imagined cold and suffocating sensation didn't come. Instead, there was a splat as she fell onto the water's surface.

She stood up confused, rubbed her sore butt.
Then she looked down and was astonished to find that she was standing on the water's surface?
