Liangg Mao had no recollection of how he left Chen Xi's residence; the elegantly decorated mansion didn't pique his interest as he walked out. Chen Xi's dream had left him completely bewildered.
"You're lying again!" Xin Xianying tugged at Chen Xi's sleeve, making a funny face, and said.
"Not lying, oh!" Chen Xi bent down and pinched Xin Xianying's cheek, saying, "What I said is true, oh."
"Liar." The words were a bit garbled coming from Xin Xianying as Chen Xi pinched her cheek. As she complained, she reached out to pinch Chen Xi's cheek in return.
"Hahaha." Chen Xi released her cheek and ruffled Xin Xianying's hair into a mess. Finally, Xin Xianying held her head and ran off.
"I'm not playing with you anymore, you won't read me stories. I'm going to find Sister Zhen." Xin Xianying poked her head through the side door, puffing her cheeks as she spoke to Chen Xi.
