When she threw herself at him, Maverick Knight raised his hand to catch her. Her face hit that solid chest, and her body steadied. At that moment, the scent belonging to the man lingered all around, and the room fell into silence.
Aurora Blaine came to her senses and quickly pulled away, speaking with some apology, "Sorry, I'm a bit dizzy."
The combination of alcohol and a long soak made her truly dizzy, as if her feet were stepping on clouds.
Seeing the blush on the girl's cheeks, Maverick Knight frowned and asked in a deep voice, "How long have you been in there?"
"I don't remember." If he hadn't come in to wake her, she might have spent the whole night in the bathroom.
Aurora walked to the bed, lifted the covers, and lay down, "I'm going to sleep first."
She really couldn't hold on, too sleepy.
In less than a few minutes, Aurora had fallen asleep, having no defenses against Maverick Knight.
