Kane Townsend just watched as Jace Pierce completed a series of actions, a bucket of steaming noodles, tossing in a cigarette, utterly ruining them.
Kane raised her hand again to remove her headphones, feeling a bit unsettled, "Jace, I know you're upset with me, but going this far for revenge is too much."
Kane's temper wasn't great, but because Jace had saved her several times, she held back on several occasions.
If anyone else dared to throw a cigarette into her noodles, she'd smack them with a backhand!
Jace was nonchalant, a smile playing at the corners of his mouth, "So, do you know what you made me lose last time?"
"What?" Kane was curious about what they were playing at the time.
Just an ordinary game of mahjong, losing a few times wasn't a big deal, Jace wouldn't be targeting her like this, but back then, with his repeated losses, his eyes looked like he could strangle her.
"A year's workload," Jace replied.
