The figure flickered a few times, then put away the light source and brushed aside the obstacles.
The clear moonlight poured through the mottled tree shadows, and Ye Xian could finally see the man's face. Her mind had a moment of lucidity, vividly remembering that in a recent pitch-dark and perilous night, this figure had also crossed tall buildings, shattered glass, and, with stars overhead, approached her.
