"The spell? What is the spell? Didn't she have the first one? That made her stable. Which one is this?" Judy let out she stood next to Athena when Eurus say her swaying, her body twitching ever so slightly, fatigue, he's seen it after a day of work coming off the plane her body slumped drained from the unrelenting day, Eurus tugged towards her his hand reached out to catch her, Athena held her hand stopping him, her eyes steely blue,
"I have her Eurus don't worry," Athena said
Judy glanced at the two her hand clenching onto Athenas, it tightened her grip when she let out once more,
"There's another spell, what is it now? Why do we have to wait to see her for the spell,"
"The spell we are talking about is one that would reverse the old trap Dalos made, flipping it on his head," Ares interrupted his dark brown gaze seemed to shift red from the pool of brown, Judy step closer her eyes flared with confusion and worry but Eurus placed his hand on her chest, she and Athena stopped their gaze turned to his,
"Revuers?"
"Yes, it would make Dalos spell. His trap is effective, but it would be useless in a way to Shai's power made. It would be a fake sword to a real shield, powerless and vacant."
Eurus skeptic, his eyes a sort of squint, asked, "Her power, that spell that helped her make her a god, gave her power that can counteract his, if he made his trap the mirror would be left useless. The spell void and us?"
"Protected in Shai's golden force, he would be detained into his small building in the middle of the universe, held in place for the worlds that circle him are uninhabitable to him,"
Ares further explained his hand clenched onto his axe with a smug almost satisfied smirk, he strides to them his eyes a gleam profound in belief. He raised his hand taking his helmet from his side placing it on his head the waves of brownish red waved in the wind, Judy stared at him blankly, her head titled with a questionable look, her eyes a subtle squint on the corners. Then her lips parted the question that matched her expression.
"He can't come in because of her? What you're getting at is she can keep him sealed away from the rest of the worlds, for what next? The next plane to trap him, what is it?"
"Next would be the call to kill a god." Ares admitted
His voice sent a cold chill throughout the yard, Eurus took a step back feeling his skin prickle from the cold that seeped around them. Judy let go of Athena even if she was more warm there herself, Judy rubbed her arms her gaze changed blank a hint of acknowledgement, to full blown understanding. It could have been the same games played in her life work she's been in before. Her gaze went dark, with a stiff frown.
"I see. When you mean kill him. You mean kill the ideology or the god themselves, it is what my work calls behind assassinations and assanation of character. It goes without notice but some would be put out like a sacrifice." Judy uttered,
Ares stared at her, a shadow covering his eyes, and peered at her, when his gaze glanced at Athena, his gaze didn't change, even when Athena uttered softly into their tense conversation.
"Now that a prospect we've been in forever, however, I don't think you see it as clearly as we do,"
Ares looked back at Judy when a light appeared in his eyes, the smirk from before rested this time brighter, his chest shaking from the absurd laughter that tried to escape it. He held onto his axe like it was holding him up, he lean back his neck cracking from the sudan movement,
"No, we really mean to kill the god. But sure if we can knock out both in one swing then so be it,"
"I see you find this humorous, didn't think killing your own kind would make you hold in your laughter like this," Eurus though out load his arms crossed over his chest staring at the three before it lands on Ares, they stared one a gleam in his eyes, playful, as if he's watching a story instead of planning their adversaries murder, with a laugh that sounds like relief.
"He has caused more pain than care…more hate and resentment than companionship, it's understandable under that time. He holds no place in our heart. Nor in our lives." Ares said
"I..I see" Eurus let out
Ares smirked leaning closer to Eurus, he stared down at him,
"It's a fine little man. I believe you humans call it a toxic family. I think"
"Yes there's toxic family's like that" Judy interrupted
She observed, a haunted look appeared in her hues, they took notice and so did Eurus, he remembered her past, he wanted to reach out to her hold her hand, but hes interrupted, Quetzalcoatl stretched forward his nose close to Eurus,
"That's only insinuated by the council, even at that it's been rare to have them all agree and take down another god."
He uttered curling his tail around them the ground having a sudden shake, Eurus almost tripped but caught himself he glanced at the serpent a small sentence escaped his lips,
"you haven't done that before?"
"It happened before the old gods, they had to be trapped away in the stars, no hope of coming back. Until the day they decided to comeback, even that it wouldn't be well for any of us"
Quetzalcoatl admitted his head tilted, with a slight purr, curious when his eyes went to slits, he shifts his gaze to the two gods near him,
"They have concluded, strangely, that it takes more time. Weeks even."
Ares stepped back to the serpent, looking over his shoulder, red eyes turned dark, stern even,
"they've been done talking now Quetzalcoatl? That's amusing that mean they are making the spell," Ares answered
"They stopped? They've come to a conclusion. Good from what you told us they would have been there for longer" Athena said the same time,
Eurus and Judy looked between them, their gaze not as confused as before they understood now. This was a functioning self governing being one's more power then anything Eurus and Shai have seen, Eurus pattered to the his hand held out for them,
"Wait, we hear what you're saying, they finished talking right? Zeus and Art, are they making that spell then?" Eurus asked
Athena peered at him, with an affirmative nod and told him,
"Yes. But more than them. Asclepius, Apollo and possibly Isis might help with the spell however there was more in the meeting then you think Eurus,"
"There were more. From Shai releasing them from his mirror?" Judy chimed in
"Indeed there is. After she broke it they wanted to begrudgingly work with us. But there done we might be needed there." Ares assured
"You..you three need to leave after this telling us that you need to protect us"
Ares turned to her, staring down at her intimidating, when he motioned his head to the serpent, and a soft grunt, to Judy it sounded old and was Greek from what she could remember from Ben. Quetzalcoatl moved his tail went into the ground, it shakes terrible the ground morphing into an ancient glyph, its Aztec spiraling around Quetzalcoatl, it glanced at Ares and said,
"I can only do this once, get out of the way,"
Ares grunted moving away, his hand held out taking Eurus with him, Eurus let out a faint grunt staring at Ares stunned, his hand grabbing onto Ares from his shirt.
"What are you doing?"
"Im moving you out of his way, unless you want to be apart of the ground Quetzalcoatl changing," Ares answered leaning closer to his face and whispered,
"You wouldn't want to be in the ground when that happens. I don't want to tell Shai why you're an image on the ground."
Ares at the thought of it, holding back a shivered that wanted to creep up his back, dropping Eurus he peered at Athena and Judy, The human woman held onto Athena her nails digging into Athena's armor, the pain didn't matter as they watched Quezatocoatl shift into the ground around them. There house shifted to the side then the other, it made it look like its sinking into the ground Judy eyes widen letting go of athena her hand reached out for the house frightened,
"What is he doing to take me home?"
Ares stepped to her hand arm holding her in place and then they hear the ground break around the front curing onto the side Judy watched her home shake the foundation breaking, the walls having crakes appeared, with the line cutting through the ground made it past the back of the house appearing on the other side Eurus stepped back scanning the next side Quetazcoat is heading towards,
"Tell her what's he doing?" Eurus inquired.
Ares and Athena observed the serpent, Ares squinted, reconsidering what Quezatcoatl was trying to do, protecting them even when he was needed elsewhere. Ares peek at Eurus his eyes shifting a deep red,
"Hes protecting you," Ares answered short cut that when the serpent turned to the front against cutting through the ground until he reached the other side reaching where he started, the serpent moved through the ground stared up at Ares when he met where he started, the colorful eyes looked up at the four sternly , serious, when a deep growl reverberated from the serpent through the ground,
"This is my reminder. In case they step in this land it with tremble and i will , dont have worry,"
The ground shook once more Quetzalcoatl morphed slowly into his own glyph, it stared at the base of his tall and Judy watched awed a hand covering her mouth, Eurus eyes widen jaw clenched, observing this shifting sight. When the serpent explained. It eyes still a colorful glow,
"I will be your guardian not for your sake, but for hers,"
It shifted on last time the ground coming together until they see the glyph entirety, it was.like it came off the Aztec pyramids, it was red and green that crowned his head, his mouth opened with its wings spread out left right out there on their lawn stretching out like a shield over their home. A silent protector not for its sake or theres but for Shais. Eurus stared at it awed his gaze twitching his hand reached out shaking, would he dare touch it, only when Judy interrupted him touching it before he could, she felt it the power that held within the glyph pulsed back into her hand, it made her body shift taking her hand of it, she let out a shaky breath,
"Hes still there?" Judy questioned,
She peered behind her at Ares. She noticed the subtle nod he gave her before, it told her what she asked for, this was true and it will stay. Ares walked to her and Athena followed his stead but with Eurus, her hands tightened on her weapons like Ares,
"He is but I believe that he is needed where Shai is,"
Ares explained staring at the dark sky, he could see Olympus, the eerie shine of gold that came with it, it was lighter before Shai appeared changing it all together into a dark gold one of tempered heat and tribulation
