(ZIGGY'S POV)
End of my shift, I check my phone while on my way out of the hotel. There's only one thing I need from my phone. Cloe's reply, but sad to say I didn't receive any.
Before I go home, I check on Cloe's house and pray that she's still awake, that her lights are still on. I beam, seeing Cloe's bedroom light is still on.
Except that my happiness didn't take long when I saw Val's motorcycle in the same place as last night. 'Is Val's staying in Cloe's?' I go nearer to check if it's really Val's bike, and indeed it is. I turn around the house and stand near Cloe's bedroom door.
I can see the silhouette of someone behind the curtain passing by together with rattling sounds of the doorknob and the slamming of the door. For sure, it's Cloe, the other room is dark, maybe nobody is there, or if ever Val is there, he is probably asleep. But why should he be there? And if he's inside the house, where did he sleep, in the lounge, the other room, or Cloe's room?
