Mark never really thought that he might be impatient. Nothing really important had happened in his life that he should be worried about having to find out what happened so his limits hadn't been tested before.
As time passed though, with every ticking of some invisible clock in his mind all he could think about was that he couldn't really wait. He had been pacing back and forth, playing with his fingers and even daring to slightly explore the place, like taking twenty steps away from the door and the comfort that if someone attacked him his screams could be heard and the others would run to save him.
He had also stuck his ear on the cold door, concentrating, hoping he would get to hear something, even a word would be okay to calm him down a bit but it was pointless since this door too felt like it was previously on a fortress. If they caught a fire here and the doors were locked most of them would end up dying. He thought and shock his head wanting to kick away his dark thoughts.
