"Okay, so this all started two weeks ago."
"Only two weeks? So recent?"
"Yep. That recent. Anyways—" Viktoriya flicked a strand of hair behind her ear with a flourish far too dramatic for the setting, "—I was minding my own business, being suspended in filming for totally justifiable reasons—"
"Wait, filming?" Wynter blinked. "You're an actress?"
"I'm an actress when I want to be," Viktoriya replied smoothly, as though she were ordering a cocktail at a resort. "Freelance chaos, darling."
"How admirable," Wynter deadpanned.
"It was just a small scandal. Really. A tiny one. Blew up for no reason. I might've slapped a co-star on set."
"You what?"
"She was being annoying. Method acting my ass. I method acted right back." Viktoriya shrugged, utterly unapologetic. "Ah—and I might have laced her water with laxatives, but that's a separate issue."
Wynter stared at her, open-mouthed. "You… spiked her drink?"
"She needed to be humbled. I was helping the plot."
