Dawn Hurst Town
A young man with a red cap and a Crobat next to him began walking through this town. But when the young man started to walk through this town, he was bumped into by a small child.
The small child looked as if he was 10 years old and his dirty and partially destroyed clothes indicated that the child's circumstances were not ideal.
But the young man showed no expression of pity but a cold and indifferent expression as he looked at the child.
The little kid had a bad feeling about this young man, but what really scared the little kid was the expression the Pokemon next to this young man had on it.
Crobat wore an expression of sadistic delight as he looked at the child with his cold yet happy eyes.
The young man noticed the small child trying to run away and he used his psychic energy to stop him from running away.
He said with an indifferent expression, "Why so hasty? Why don't we talk for a bit."
The little child started to panic. "P- Please Sir. Let me go. Please.."
The young man ignored the child's words as if he hadn't heard them, "What's your name child? My name is Alex."
The little child realized that he was in a very dangerous situation and he tried to remain as calm as possible. "Sir, my name is Felix. Can you please let me go?"
Alex, hearing this, smiled for the first time as he replied, "Sure. As long as you give me my wallet back I'll let you go right away."
Felix who heard that started to get nervous. He indeed had stolen Alex's wallet and this wallet was right now in his pocket.
Alex noticed that Felix can't move thanks to his psychic ability and Felix can't do anything even if he wants to.
He started laughing a bit when he started searching the child's pockets himself.
Alex pulled his wallet out of Felix's pocket with a playful expression.
"Ohh you have really quick hands to put the wallet there so quickly. I'm a bit impressed."
Felix, who is still unable to move, began to show an expression of panic again, "S-Sir you promised. P-Please..."
Although the psychic energy consumption is ridiculously high using telekinesis on "targets" as heavy as humans, the weight of a malnourished child is so low that Alex has no problem sustaining telekinesis for long.
A rank 3 psychic couldn't do that, but for Alex who was now a rank 4 or 5 psychic, that consumption is relatively small.
Alex replies with a slight smile, "I think you're a bit confused. I told you I'd let you go if you gave me my wallet back, but unfortunately, you didn't."
Felix showed a confused expression when he heard Alex's words. he couldn't understand what Alex meant.
Alex explained with a calm expression, "If YOU gave me my wallet back. do you understand now?"
Felix who heard this showed an expression full of bitterness. He understood now that Alex was playing with him like a cat with a mouse and that he never intended to let him go.
Alex flashed a smile when he saw the child's expression. He patted the kid's shoulders as he said, "Haha I'm just kidding. You can go"
Felix, who was able to control his body again, immediately started running away as fast as possible.
Alex and Crobat watched as this little child ran away as fast as possible.
Crobat looked at Alex as he said through the telepathic connection, "Why are you letting him run away and why are you allowing him to steal your wallet? if you had blocked him with your psychic barrier, to begin with, anyway the end result would be exactly the same right? The only difference is that you're wasting your time with this method. Since when are you doing something like that?"
Alex showed a small smile as he replied, "Why are you acting like there's nothing I can do doesn't give me a direct advantage in doing it?"
Crobat's eyes rolled when he heard the words from his trainer. "Ok enough with your nonsense. tell me."
Alex started laughing a bit as he replied, "Haha you really know me too well. Do you remember the moment I touched this kid's shoulders? That touch was not normal. I attached half of my Psychic Energy to his shoulder which will allow me to judge his exact location for a few days as long as he doesn't go too far away from me."
Crobat showed a bored expression upon hearing Alex's words. He thought it was for an interesting reason.
Alex looked at Crobat's expression then he said, "Ohh you thought there was a more bloodthirsty reason for my action? What kind of monster do you think I am?"
Crobat rolled his eyes again when he was too lazy to answer that question. He just said in a sarcastic tone, "For the monster you were from the start. Who are you saying is going soft?"
Gardevoir suddenly appeared from her Pokeball while simultaneously looking toward Crobat with a slightly annoyed expression.
Crobat, seeing Gardevoir's expression, gave a puzzled look that said, "What did I do wrong?"
Gardevoir said in a slightly cold tone, "Brother, can you please stop?"
Crobat, upon hearing this, became even more confused than he was before. what has he done? and why is his little sister mad at him?
Gardevoir continued, "Father showed more and more humane signs and you shouldn't harm this development with your behavior."
Alex and Crobat both wore shocked expressions. Both of them thought exactly that themselves at that moment, 'What nonsense is she talking about?'
But Alex doesn't want to destroy Gardevoir's illusion of him so he said nothing and watched as Gardevoir continued to complain about Crobat's words.
Crobat looked at Alex with eyes that mean "you traitor" when he noticed how the latter left him alone.
