"S-stop staring at me like that! You're the one who said something so... so..." Len trailed off as his gaze flickered from me to the corners away from me in hopes to distract himself.
"So... what, Len?" I asked, smirking to myself as I found Len's reaction cute and felt like teasing him a little.
"So— sc-scandalous!" He suddenly exclaims after fidgeting about– just as the kettle whistles and fills the air with light tension.
A good minute passed before I turned off the stove, unable to hold back a grin from the thought of how adorable he was. My heart felt light and the grin on my lips felt like it was getting harder and harder to hold back.
In the end, after stirring the contents in my mug– I decided to rest the mug onto the countertop before taking wide strides in Len's direction. Before long, we were barely a feet apart as I cornered him against the countertop.
