Three days have passed since the incident. Iris was still knocked out. This worried Seswak who thinks he will lose her. Zephyr reassures him that she will wake but he too has his worry.
Cody pov
I was scrubbing my armor when I get a holo call. It was Zephyr it must be important. I answered and right away knew something was wrong."Cyar'ika what's wrong?" I asked concerned. He took a deep breath. "Iris is down." He said shakingly "down what do you mean down? She was fine when you all left." I said shocked. "Well there was an attack and she lost herself. I wanted to inform you so you can tell Rex. I don't want to be the one to tell him. A lot is riding on her recovery." He said I didn't understand at first but then I got. "I will let him know." I said cutting transmission. With a heavy sigh I rose to my feet. It was not hard to find him. He was patrolling and thankfully on the next floor. "Cody whats wrong?" He asked knowing me. "Not here need you to sit down." He nods and follows me. We entered an empty room. He sat on a chair removing his helmet. "Alright Cody before you say anything. Will I want to punch something?" He asked guessing it was bad. "You probably will. Iris went down due to droid attack. She is alive but is unresponsive. The medical staff are doing all they can." I said placing my hand on his shoulder. "Is the baby ok?" He asked my eyes widened. "I didn't know she was.....I will find out and let you know." I saw tears in his eyes "please keep this quiet. I'm not sure the council knows. But probably think it was a result of a mission." He said looking away from me. "I will find out and if the baby is your, it will take more than a droid attack to knock them out." I said placing my hand on his shoulder. He looked up at me. His eyes were full of pain and worry. "I think you should get some rest Rex." He shook his head. "No putting me in an enclosed room is the worst thing for me right now." He said standing up. "Don't do anything reckless Rex she needs you. That baby will need you." I said sympathy in my voice. He head for the door. He looked over his shoulder. "I know Cody thank you for the message."
