[Franks Point of View]
"Ate Sari, Frank and I will just go out," our cousin Tyler requested, speaking to my sister's back as she watched the plasma screen.
"Nah," she replied flatly, without taking her eyes off the television.
"But we're bored! We need to go play with our friends," I countered.
"Still no. If you leave, I'll be all alone here."
"Then come with us!" I tried to persuade her, my voice bright. "I'm sure you'll love it there!"
She sighed. "I'm too lazy to do anything."
"Alright, we're leaving. Bye!" I shouted, pulling Tyler behind the living room cabinet.
"Buy me some ice cream!" Sari yelled after us.
"Okay!" I screamed back, and my cousin and I sprinted out of the unit.
My sister's routine was predictable—she always said no initially but would eventually agree to our plans.
Tyler looked confused. "Why don't we just go out straight away if she's going to approve anyway?" he asked.
