I found myself in a different chamber, clearly his throne room. He let go and calmly went to sit on his seat of power looking completely bored. I quickly picked myself up and settled on the cold stone floor nearby, rubbing my bruised dignity.
"Tell me your intention, everything about it," the Nova wolf commanded, his voice a low, rumbling sound like distant thunder.
"I..." The word caught in my throat, a dry, ragged sound. The weight of his gaze makes me feel pressured, but the desperation in my chest was heavier. I took a deep breath, the air thick with my fear and resolve. "I wished for answers in everything. I need to know more about the Goddess of Peace that resides in my body, why she chose me. I need to understand my connection with Mr. M, and more than anything, I need to know how to win against Chaos.
