Orion was out front watching the training between everyone. Faye hugged him from behind possessively. It didn't bother him, his Pather power giving him everything he needed to know. The place lacked affection. She was using him to get the bad vibe away. Her own personal power unlocking already.
Mira said it would be fine. A by product of Orion's strength. It effected everyone and was sending them further on their own Individual Paths.
It was time for them to go to the ceremony. The place were Xiao Yan gets humiliated and makes his bold claim.
C.C. was currently in Orion's breast pocket. Sleeping away after training with Kuina. Zoro and Helmeppo were talking about a few things they figured out. Morgan and his wife, a regular woman from this World name Xiao Gui were all lovey-dovey as they walked. Orion couldn't help but wonder what he would do with out her now. Plans to fix that underway.
"Hmmm, here they come." Orion said. Faye next to him. As well as the Elders and Xiao Zhan. "Tell that son of yours to cool it. It is the best course of action."
"Who come?" Zhan asked. He could not feel anything. A clan messenger came running up. 'I have a bad feeling about this.'
"Patriarch, Elders.." the messenger cried out. "... Elder Ge Ye, Yun Yun and Miss Na-Lan of Yun Lan Sect are coming to visit!" Orion could not get over the mouthful the messenger just said. iw was quite a feat. With a smile, he grabbed the young man on the top of the head. Transferring a cultivation to him. As well as Indoctrination. But no D.G. cells. "Thank you Elder!"
"Of course, grow well and be a good man." Orion smiled. 'More eyes for later and I wonder well I can send him on? So much to do as a Pather now that war is over.'
The clan started to chatter. Several of them already insulting Xiao Lan. This did not go over well with Kuiana and Zoro. The clan was suppose to be his family, yet here they were throwing his name into the dirt. The Elders doing the same.
Kuina gave Orion a pleading look. She was happy when gave her a nod.
"Hey..." Kuina stepped out. ".. if anyone thinks they can bad mouth Xiao Yan so openly and go unpunished, think again. It seems fear is need to reign in cowards such as yourselves. Get on the ground and apologize, or else. You have three seconds."
"This girl has jokes." An older clan member said.
"She thinks she is hot sht because of her father." Another older kid said. Before he speak any further, a weight bore down on him and all that bath mouthed Xiao Yan just then.
"Did I stutter?" Kuina gave the entire a dark look. Haki was just a concentrated for of Spirit Pressure. And she had cultivated spirit energy to a high degree. "Now apologize!"
*Woom woom!* She released more spirit energy pushing the people down into the dirt. No matter age, status, of gender.
"Ehem, Elder Orion do you mind?" Orion smiled and kept talking to Zhan. 'Oh, dear this little girl will be the end of the clan at this rate. Such tyrannical pressure!' Looking at the pained expression, he had to speak before it was to late. "What are you all waiting for, apologize at once! All of you!"
As the people started to apologize, Kuina let up. Having complete a few quests in the process. She wiped her brow and stepped back near Zoro. Who frowned a little bit.
"Tch, you have got further than me in releasing your pressure!" Zoro pouted. "We are so sparring again after this!"
"Hehe, anytime. You have to show me that movement technique." Such a healthy rivalry between the two. Kuina beamed a smile back at him.
"What could they possibly want to do?" Xiao Zhan asked. Orion told him outright.
"To break the marriage agreement." Orion said. "Your son, is not a cute little shit anymore. Childish things are cast to the side once adult comes. And let's be honest, she is part of the Yun-Lun Sect. his behavior before and now is not something they are willing to put up with." Remembering a certain scene, he made sure to mention it. "The girl Nalan Yanran does care about him still. She will put on a brave front to push him away." They are at the age yah know. The stupid crazy age of emotions. Which is weird."
"But.. Xiao Yan.. " In Orion's hand, he showed the Patriarch the scene of Xiao Yan and the Gu girl on the roof. "This.." Hearing the conversation and seeing it play out, was enough to make the man tear up a little. "Gu Xun Er.. cares deeply for my son."
"She does. But conflict with her clan.. is worse than anything. Parents meddling in kids' affairs. Such a troublesome thing." Orion sent the image away. He told the identity of the girl and speculation on what would happen if Xiao Yan did not change more. "The same as with you and your wife."
"You know quite a lot cousin." Xiao Zhan said. Bothered only a little by Orion's actions the last few days. "I need to deal with everything accordingly."

The Yun Lan Sect brought tones of gifts. Gifts that could help the Xiao Clan greatly. But Pride would prevent that from amounting to anything. A few false pleasantries went on till things got to the nitty gritty.
"I just can't think of where the Empire's strongest Sect could want my services." Xiao Zhan said slighlty arrogantly. Orion and Faye sighed not caring about being rude. Things were going to play out the same as originally. "Gifts like this do not come free. What does the Yun Lan Sect want from me."
"It should be obvious." Yun Yun said. She did not like the man's attitude. Considering she sent a letter before hand, things should not have been this bad. "I sent a messenger to deliver things to you, Xiao Zhan, surely you did not ignore it?"
"I received no letter." Xiao Zhan said. He passed a look to the Elders to the side of him. They made sure to look away from his gaze. "Oh, I see. It must have gotten lost. A shame." He looked to Orion. An angry look cast toward the Elders. 'He said things would get worse before I dealt with them.'
"Ehem, clan troubles aside," Elder Ge Ye cleared his throat. "Young Na-Lan.. future is something that we no longer wish to tie down with an arranged marriage. With what we hear about your son and those close to him, I think it est we end it."
*Thump!* Na-Lan stood up quickly. Feeling things were taking to long. The WIll of the World influencing the girl. It was ended in a moment.
"Sit down!" Yun Yun ordered. Her weight made the girl sit down immediately. "Do not be rude like others. We are handling this peacfully. No need for foolishness." Her tone was cold leaving no room for discussion.
"The marriage agreement.." Xiao Zhan mumbled. Remembering who set the marriage proposal up was enough for him to fight for it more. "..we should.."
"Cut the shit." Orion cut in. This was annoying to see. "The girl wants to break the arrangement, and Xiao Yan likes someone else anyway. They have brought approriate resources to end it. And with his personality, do you think he would go through with it anyway?" He let that hang for a moment. "He would not, and you know it. His two brothers are not here to talk sense into him either."
*Flux!* Spirit energy built up as Xiao Zhan started to become heated. In response Elder Ge Ye did as well. With Yun Yun there, he did not want to be shown up. The two energies clashed slightly. Not hurting anyone.
Orion shielded everyone behind Xiao Zhan. Yun Yun shielded Na-Lan and those peeping on everything.
A lion's head manifested for Xiao Zhan. He had the superior skill. Which was something given by his wife. It was called Lion's Fury. So goes the rumor. Ge Ye had a phantasmal blue sword. Called Greenwood Blade. Despite no green visible in it.
"Stop!" Xiao Yan announced coming inside. Ignoring the danger. Not like there was any with Yun Yun shielding things. "Ms Na-Lan, have talked this over with your grandfather!?"
"Tch, my fate should be decided by me and me alone!" Na-Lan barked back. "I will choose for myself. Besides, I heard you have a woman already. No need to hide it. No need to act like you care."
"That's.." Xiao Yan had nothing to say to that. "Even though.."
"Nope. Not happening . Hell no." Orion got up. "If the shoe was on the other foot, I doubt anyone would bat an eye. You do not care for her the way she cares for you most likely. End everything here and now peacefully." He sent a sound transmission to his ears. "Look, you are older than them and from Earth, so cut the shit. You should have more than enough sense to not be an asshole and force someone to keep an engagement with you."
"You.. how do you.." Xiao Yan looked at orion in shook. Fear overwhelming him then anger. "That does not give her the right to Humiliate me like this!"
"But you can humiliate her though?" Orion revealed the image of him and the Gu girl. "Get off that high horse now! Before it is to late. If you want to pretend to be a man, then act like one. Know, when things should be let go."
"If I let this go.. the Xiao Clan will be the laughingstock of the Empire!" Xiao Yan yelled back. He looked to his father who stood to the side. "Father.."
"The same clan that you yourself made fun of before you lost your cultivation?" Orion said coldly. "The same clan that ridicule's you behind your back and to your face? No Xiao Yan, the clan loses enough face every day on its own. You, are just a man child making it worse. And that is only because you are the Patriarch's son. What have you honestly done to make things better for the clan? What have you done to make something more of your lost cultivation? Nothing but pine and play around slightly."
"Who side are you on?" Xiao Zhan asked Orion. "He is a member of the Ziao clan."
"She is also a member of the Xiao clan as long as the engagement is a thing. No sense in letting things be one sided." Orion said. "Ending this foolishness here and now. The engagement is ended. I decree it so."
"With what authority!" Xiao Zhan argued.
"You both well except it here and now, or I will bury the entire Xiao clan in blood." Orion released his spiritual pressure on the entire estate. Dark Cosmos burning in his eyes. "I do not mind doing it. So what is more important, Pride or the lives of everyone in the clan Patriarch Zhan and little Xiao Yan?"
"Patriarch..." One the Elders turned to plead with Xiao Zhan. "The clan.."
"I agree!" Xiao Zhan said defeated. He looked to his son wanting him to say the same. "Xiao Yan.."
"Swear on your soul and cultivation." Orion pressed. He pushed against the Will of the World while doing so. He would not be denied this. "Do it!" Father and son did so. Making the oaths breaking the Will of the World's hold on them. For Oath's were tied to one's cultivation. Which was everything in the World. "Good." He walked out. Faye following behind right after.
"You were willing to risk the entire clan for your Pride as a man.. disgusting." Faye said as she left. "If I was your mother, I would kill myself. A disgusting young man."
