As Akiol returned to the living room he spotted Rue arguing with the others.
"You think I'm going to step aside? Of course I'm going to watch as well!", Rue shouted.
"You're not taking a single step into his room while we study his body. We're not giving you the option.", Kan'na argued back.
"Oh please, you think I couldn't have done anything previously? You don't know the extent of his condition. There's been a few times where I had to help him back to his feet because he collapsed. If I wanted to do anything, it could've happened then and there."
Akiol knew it would be a while before his party could come to understand Rue as he had. So he coughed loudly and interrupted the argument, "It's fine. She's been keeping a close eye on me. Out of everyone here, she's the only one who can spot when my symptoms are flaring up."
"I refuse to trust her.", Wrock was adamant.
"I'm not asking you to.", Akiol shook his head, "Just know that I trust her."
