The sound of boots snapping to the floor echoed across a brightly lit hall. A walk of purpose, a walk that made itself clear to all.
Arriving at a door they lifted a keycard to a scanner. A sharply toned beep echoed and the mechanical door slid open. Walking through this door they scoffed, "The hell did you page me for?"
"We've officially figured out the differences in souls. Nobody is as much as an expert as you, so you need to take a look at the work."
"Very good, here I thought it was for something unimportant again."
"I don't call you for nonsense!", another pouted.
"Nine out of ten times it's an utter waste of my time. Where's the work?"
A thumb gestured towards a room, "Files on the interface."
Walking up to the room somebody called out, "Dr. Landwester, your pin."
Landwester looked down at their coat to see their nametag pin was almost falling off. Adjusting it they thanked, "I appreciate it."
