Hearing Meng Bai's words, Lin Mu patted his head. "Try not to faint in public. It is embarrassing."
Meng Bai looked offended. "Master, you just broke half a stadium."
"Accidentally," Lin Mu replied calmly.
They were still talking when a loud voice echoed through the entire arena.
"ATTENTION ALL CONTESTANTS AND SPECTATORS!"
The overseer of the tournament floated into the air, his face pale as he looked at the ruined stadium.
"Due to the severe damage to the arena and the core of its defensive array, the next semifinal match will be postponed."
The crowd went silent for exactly one breath.
Then all hell broke loose...
"POSTPONED?!"
"ARE YOU JOKING?!"
"I WAITED SIX HOURS FOR THIS!"
"MY TEA IS ALREADY COLD!"
Cattaleya froze.
Slowly, very slowly, she turned her head toward the overseer.
Her face twitched.
"Postponed?" she repeated softly.
Daoist Chu's eyes widened. "Oh no."
Elyon quietly stepped back.
Meng Bai blinked. "Senior Cattaleya?"
Cattaleya's fists clenched.
