The creature that tore out of the tree line made the group of people quake with fear.
Their enemy was supposed to be a drake, but what appeared in front of them was a twisted caricature of the majestic creature.
To Ryan, it looked like a T. rex, but heavily twisted and mutated; the head had swollen into a bulbous, pus-covered mess, its jaws stretched and open with its gums pushing out, making it look nightmarish.
It was missing its right hand, but the left looked impossibly long and misshapen. Its right leg reminded Ryan of a T. rex, but its left resembled that of a spider —a rotted spider leg created out of bones and putrescent flesh. Its belly was swollen and pulsing, a mesh of flesh.
The skin of the creature was rotten and pus-filled, and Ryan's trained eyes easily spotted giant worm-like maggots wriggling under it.
