( Yuuki's POV )
After conquering the Orcus dungeon I opened a portal so the rest of the girls could pass into the magic circle but it did not activate for them, the simplest conclusion was that only those who passed through the hundred floors could receive the creation magic and we confirmed this when another team did a quick run through the dungeon.
We spent two weeks in Orcus' cabin and I spent that time improving our basic equipment, I also started working on some new sacred gears but these were not finished, Vivi was the best in our kingdom at creating enchanted clothes so I escorted her through the dungeon and when she acquired the creation magic she made some improvements to our DS uniforms.
Matsu had completed her mission and she found all the selected ones that the god Eht had sent to other worlds, they were five in total all in different worlds, the girls formed exploration groups and they jumped into those worlds, at the same time it was time for us to continue our mission to conquer more dungeons.
We stood in front of the magic portal and I took out one of the artifacts we had found here, that was the ring of Orcus, the thing worked as a master control for this place, that activated things like the cabin's self-cleaning magic and also changed the destination of the magic circle that only led to two places, the Orcus dungeon and another unidentified place, I was curious about that so we were going to go through that portal instead of returning to the surface directly.
Upon setting foot in the magic circle we were transported to a dark cave where the only exit was a double stone door, the thing was locked, but Orcus's ring reacted again and the door opened automatically.
Yuuki: Yue, you hold this.
The ring of Orcus was not only a master key to this place, it was also a portable storage, we already had our own storage so after making some adjustments I gave it to Yue to use.
Upon receiving the ring Yue blinked a few times and put on a small smile, then she went on to put the ring on her left ring finger and she used an interesting choice of words.
Yue: um... I accept.
The girls with me gave me a sideways look as if it was my fault, which in part it probably is, but I left that for another time and we made our way through the cave, and after passing through multiple doors we could finally see the light at the end of the tunnel but what was on the other side was not exactly a place that screamed freedom or security.
The place the portal took us to was a place called the Raisen Great Canyon, a trench two kilometers deep and almost a kilometer wide, this was a dangerous area that divided the north and south of the continent, In addition to being home to dangerous magical beasts, the environment naturally dispel magic circles before they could be activatedand of course, magical beasts had less problems with that thanks to their ability to use magic directly, but for us this was great news, another of the great dungeons is supposedly located somewhere in the canyon but this one has never been found, much to the fact that exploring the Raisen Great Canyon was more trouble than it was worth.
I was able to open a portal but the peculiar characteristics of the canyon made it close quickly, I clicked my tongue and then felt a large flame appear next to me, the person responsible for that was Yue.
Yue: If you use twice as much magical energy, the cannon's effects aren't that bad.
Yuuki: I didn't expect such a brute force approach from you.
Yue: if it works it works.
Following Yue's example I opened another portal which stayed open long enough for a small army of sphere drones to emerge and they began to search for the entrance to the dungeon.
Our appearance in the area around another large dungeon had saved us some time so we took that as a way to relax, I took a table out of my storage and then called my loyal maid Sakuya, she came out of the portal and started serving us food.
After a few moments of that impromptu picnic, one of the drones approached and activated a digital screen, I thought they had found the entrance to the dungeon but what appeared on the screen was a woman, more specifically a demi-human woman with the characteristics of a rabbit.
The bunny girl was looking at the drone that was recording her with curiosity and she repeatedly touched the drone's lens, I activated the drone's transmitters and spoke to the girl.
Yuuki: Who are you? And what are you doing here?
???: [ ahhh that thing spoke . ]
The girl was surprised to hear my voice coming out of the drone and she jumped behind a large rock for protection but then she poked her head out of there and she put on a look of realization.
???: [ wait, that voice is... Are you Yuuki? ]
When the girl suddenly said my name, I immediately became defensive, someone being alone in this place was suspicious and that person knowing my name was doubly suspicious, I quickly teleported behind the rabbit girl and pointed my twin sword at her.
Yuuki: Are you a follower of the mad god or an agent of the crimson ravens? Answer, who told you my name?
The rabbit girl jumped back in surprise at my appearance and she started to tremble when I pointed my sword at her, then she waved her hands in front of her frantically.
???: no no no, I'm not working for anyone and no one told me your name, I know your name... because I saw it in a vision.
