The moon above the lands flared red, casting an ominous crimson light over Vanko and Reem. Souta thrust both hands forward, and his voice cut through the roaring chaos.
"It's futile!"
His words weren't for the beings below, they were directed at the cores of both lands themselves. With his [Douion IV], Souta had transcended the need for them. He was no longer reliant on the land's natural dream power; he was a core of dream energy himself.
The magnitude of his power dwarfed even the strongest dream creatures. Demis and monsters born of the Dream Realm could not hope to reach this level. His douion had surpassed the lands themselves, bending their essence to his will.
"I will be the sole ruler of this land!!"
With a deafening roar, he pressed his hands together. Energy erupted outward in a blinding surge, a storm of douion so dense and potent that reality itself groaned under its weight.
