The days passed by quickly and China seemed and felt happier, if there was one thing she had learned from her situation, it was to give glory to God no matter the situation or problem one finds himself or herself.
China went to Alvin's room to clean the bathroom and take out the laundry, he was busy on his laptop so he had no time to cause much trouble.
China went on with her work diligently and was soon done with it,she took the laundry and was on her way out when Alvin stopped her.
"China" He called. "Yes?" She said as she turned back. "I'm having a party." He spoke starring into her eyes. "Since when do you ask my permission for anything you do?" She asked sarcastically.
"Oh don't start on that, I'm only telling you so you can wear something more fashionable." Alvin said looking at her maid outfit.
"You never miss a chance to ridicule me don't you. I'm a maid remember and if I were to wear a party dress how would that seem, I mean what impression would I be giving out?" China asked confused.
"Will you just let me finish. You're taking the day off tomorrow and coming to the party as a guest." Alvin said to her excitement.
"What! Are you serious?" China asked in excitement. "Yes and don't be too happy, I'm not doing it for you because I like you or something, I'm only doing it because I want to satisfy my conscience. It's the only thing I can do to thank you for saving my life." Alvin clarified.
"Thank you so much but will your mother agree? You know she hates me so much." China said worried.
"Don't worry about that, I'll take of it." Alvin assured and she smiled. He could have sworn that he recognized that smile, it was the same smile of his crush at the hospital.
Could she have been telling the truth? Was she the one he had been secretly searching for? He wasn't really sure but tossed the idea aside.
He kept starring at her as she walked out the door of his room, somewhere within he wished she was the one.
