"What do you think you are doing?"
A voice boomed from inside the kitchen. As soon as everyone heard it, they scurried away, leaving some space at the center.
A girl stood at the center. She wore a white kitchen coat and a black gauze to cover her hair. With the hair up, her fair face was displayed to many. Everyone who saw it was dumbstruck, she was just too beautiful.
However, this beauty had a fiery temper. At the moment her brows were scrunched up displaying obvious displeasure. If you looked closely, steam was close to shooting out of the openings on her head. She was carrying a cooking stick in her hand, pointing it unwaveringly towards a boy dressed in black.
The rest of the kitchen staff just crowded into a corner and whispered amongst themselves
One of them sighed, "They are fighting again."
Another answered, "This Ling Fen ah! She really has a fiery temper!"
Another chimed in albeit hushedly "Does she think this is her kitchen, ruling over others like that, does she think she is the best or what?"
As if answering her Ling Fen shouted in a voice louder than before
"Gong Xu, what do you think you are doing? Get out of my kitchen right now!"
Gong Xu was the youth in black. His face was handsome yet at the moment was clouded in anger. He also shouted in anger.
"If you think you are so good why don't you just do it yourself and stop making trouble for me. Seriously, you are so annoying."
Although it was said in anger, there was not a single trace of disrespect only displeasure.
After everyone heard Gong Xu speak, they gasped loudly and stared at him wide-eyed and as if they expected it, the two really began chasing one another around but this was stopped by another loud voice.
"What do you think you are doing? the customers are waiting."
The man who spoke was tall and burly, his height almost reaching the kitchen roof. Once they saw him, the two running around ceased their steps and stared at the other.
"Ling Fen, Gong Xu, this is already the third time. I really cannot take it anymore, come see me in my office when the shift ends."
He then stepped out in fury.
The rest of the staff also looked as if they could not take it anymore, one of them particularly gloating right in Ling Fen's face, "You know what is coming next. This time you will be fired for sure and I sure can not wait."
Ling Fen just looked at her as if she was a fly and answered demurely
"Zhao Anxi, at least it is because of my temper, you who do not even know how to boil mere water, don't you think you'll be joining me soon?"
Zhao Anxi was maddened by that statement.
Everyone knew that when it came to cooking, no one could beat Ling Fen. Even simple ramen noodles tasted extravagant when passed through her hands.
Zhao Anxi had since been jealous of all the praises the other got and the cooking talent she had.
She had only gotten this job because the owner was her uncle but it was true that she could not cook. Ling Fen saying that out loud really hit a sore spot in her heart.
"Ling Fen!" She shouted angrily
"What?"
"Just wait and see." Zhao Anxi shouted loudly then stormed off.
And as if she was expecting it, Ling Fen was fired that day.
