Mars tidied up his appearance a bit, then imitated their actions to make himself look like he was searching as well, approaching them.
Deliberately making noise in the snow, he quickly attracted the attention of the two elves.

Both of them raised their weapons, one holding a magic wand, the other gripping a steel sword, preparing for battle.
