Chuxia Ling took a tissue by herself, wiped the tears off her face, and blew her nose as well.
In front of her was a pot of steaming ginger soup. Chuxia Ling's eyes darted around, and she got up, went into the kitchen, grabbed two empty bowls, then walked back and started pouring the ginger soup into them.
After she poured, she glanced over at Bai Yixuan, who was still on the phone. She was worried he didn't know how long he would be and that if he really caught a cold it wouldn't be a joke.
She picked up the ginger soup and walked towards Bai Yixuan. As she neared him, Bai Yixuan's words began to enter her ears, word for word.
"What? He left without eating? You don't know why? Can't get in touch with him now? What exactly is going on?"
"You don't know? You can't find out clearly?"
"Fine, fine, I understand. I'll handle this matter."
