Ji Anning looked distressed, wanting to reach out and support her, but thinking of her strong-willed nature, she hesitated and withdrew her hand.
She stepped aside, allowing Ji Mingyue to step down the steps she was standing on, and then she followed behind her.
Patiently, she walked with her slowly.
Ji Chicheng also approached the staircase, and when Ji Mingyue was about to reach him, he pointed at her and asked Ji Anning, "Is this your sister?"
Here we go again!
Ji Anning shook her head, "No, this is my aunt; you should call her sister."
Ji Chicheng frowned in confusion, "Why should I call your aunt, sister?"
Without waiting for Ji Anning to answer, he asked again, like a bewildered child, "She's your elder, why does she look as young as you?"
Ji Anning was speechless for a second, and replied to Ji Chicheng, "Aunt is only six years older than me."
Ji Mingyue looked at Ji Chicheng in surprise, scrutinizing his face carefully.
