Noah watched as a lotus began to bloom with petals that unfolded in perfect sequence.
The first petal opened, revealing blue-gold light within. Before that petal finished settling, the second petal began opening. Then the third. Then the fourth. The progression continued endlessly, the lotus never finishing its bloom but simply continuing to produce.
It was beautiful.
