THE Living Elemental had a wry expression as he followed THE Living Emotive across the Wastes of THE Fallout toward... a floating obsidian hut.
The scene was a unique one.
THE Living Elemental looked like an entity shrouded by the Phonemes of Fire, Air, Earth, and Water. Four fundamental concepts swirled around his form in constant rotation, each one manifesting as brilliant displays of their respective elements. Flames licked across his shoulders. Winds howled around his arms. Stone formations crystallized and dissolved across his torso. Water flowed in impossible streams around his legs.
He was power made manifest. Authority over the building blocks of physical reality given form.
And yet he followed behind THE Living Emotive like a subordinate trailing after their superior.
THE Living Emotive didn't seem to have any particular air of power around her.
