Tang Shaoyang's prediction was not wrong when the Shadow Star would assemble an army to take back the city. He could actually escape, returning to the God Realm's Starter City, but he chose not to. He meant it when he said he would use the Shadow Star as an example for the remaining faction in the God Realm, let it be known what the consequences were of being his enemy.
After eight hours of waiting, the army came into his view. He saw them through the Chaos Eyes and immediately summoned his spirits again, except the one who died in their first fight.
"They are an assassin faction. There might be rats in the city. Clean them out!"
Tang Shaoyang expected the Shadow Star to send a few groups to scout the city. They were assassin factions, after all. For them to bring the army, meaning they had some inside information already.
"How many in total?" He muttered while looking at the army from the bird's view, "Maybe a million?"
