Tang Jue first glanced at his phone, then raised his head to look at her from afar, and then he answered the call.
"President Tang, what a coincidence!" Xia Yuxun's voice carried a smile, seemingly casual yet tinged with a hint of something unusual.
"Mhm." Tang Jue replied with a monosyllable.
"Last time, I said that whenever you're free, I must take you to a meal. No time like the present, how about today?" Xia Yuxun suggested.
"I'm easy."
"Uh, President Tang... How did you know about this place? This isn't exactly a place everyone knows!" Xia Yuxun lowered her voice slightly, her words drifting through the phone as if tangibly lingering near his ear, seemingly trying to draw out the secrets buried deep within him.
"Friend's recommendation."
Tang Jue's reply was watertight, his attitude perfectly normal, and nothing about the whole situation showed any flaw, yet the biggest flaw had already shown itself.
And that is the word "coincidence."
